Jerry has paid him a lot of money and I guarantee you he didn't pay him to only get 15 carries for no more than 3 games in a row. Jerry is going to want to see that same production for at least 20 carries a game and I believe he will get Felix' touches by running and splitting him out wide. Tashard will get a series or two every other game and that way all the legs in the stable will be fresh.

If you're giving MB3 20 carries per game, that is not getting any value out of Felix. I think MB3 will be averaging 15 per game, regardless of his big contract. IMO/FWIW.

Assigning the number of carries any RB gets in relation to their contract or draft position is nuts.

All three backs will deserve more than what they will get this season.

If we're facing a team that doesn't have alot of speed, and can be burn\ed by fast backs, you can bet Felix will see alot more touches than barber.

If we're facing a small fast defense, then we're going to see alot of marion barber

If we just don't feel like trying to figure it out, we'll just throw all day

And yet, where did i say change the dynamic of our team.

The players on our team allow us to attack a teams weakness with our strength.

Why would we send Marion Barber into big strong DL, and LB'ers, when we Felix who can use his speed and quickness to wear them out

Why would we send Felix into small fast LB'ers, when we can pound away with Marion Barber

Why would we run the ball against a secondary that can't cover, when we can throw to Pro-bowlers like Jason Witten, and T.O

I didn't ask for them to change there team, philosophy or anything. If you have a strength, why not use to your advantage. Why run your head throw a brick wall, when there's door standing next to you.

I agree with Norm for the most part. If MB3 averages 15-16 carries and can get 4.5 ypc (he had 4.8 lats year) he will have a 1100 yard season and there will still be plenty of room for the 'Boys to utilize Jones (and Choice to some degree) and it will keep everyone fresh for the deep playoff run that we hope to see.

So he's going to average 17.5 a game? Only 10 backs in the league had that many carries a game last year. And with the exception of LT and Westbrook, most likely would have been better and fresher with fewer touches.

No, no, no! Jerry Jones doesn't care whether he gets 20 carries a game "in order to get his money's worth."

What he cares about is winning! And if limiting Barber to fewer carries in order to keep him fresh for the end game helps win, that is what he will want to happen.

That is why, in my estimation, Barber will be a token "starter" who will do his most damaging work late after Felix Jones and Tashard Choice have helped him wear the other team down to a nub.

Garrett will use all of the running backs to make the other team pay, IMO.
