Jerry has paid him a lot of money and I guarantee you he didn't pay him to only get 15 carries for no more than 3 games in a row. Jerry is going to want to see that same production for at least 20 carries a game and I believe he will get Felix' touches by running and splitting him out wide. Tashard will get a series or two every other game and that way all the legs in the stable will be fresh.

If we're facing a team that doesn't have alot of speed, and can be burn\ed by fast backs, you can bet Felix will see alot more touches than barber.
If we're facing a small fast defense, then we're going to see alot of marion barber
If we just don't feel like trying to figure it out, we'll just throw all day

How many teams consistantly use a 3 RB rotation?
He'll have to be gangbusters on special teams to even be active.
I sure hope not. Good teams don't change what they do based on who they are facing, they make that team adjust to them.
dargonking999;2091104 said:Thats stupid talk. Good teams don't change what they do, Great teams exploit a team's weakness with their strength.
If you have a fast back you send him against slow LB'ers
If you have a strong back, you send him against undersized LB'ers
Failing to do that, is only stubbornness and will cost your team victories. Don't believe me, go watch the 4 years Bill Parcells was here, and count how many time we lost due to stubbornness.

There's a difference between being versatile and literally changing what you do because you're worried you won't be able to play your game because a team has big linebackers or small linebackers or whatever.
If you pass the ball well and are facing a team with good coverage, you don't say alright, this game we're just going to run it. That's how losers think.
You do what you do well and make the other team adjust. If they play good coverage, you come up with a better way to deploy your passing game, you don't become a running team overnight.

I fail to see how this is a bad plan.
