Has it haunted us more than our offensive line?

We actually have a decent enough defense that FS isnt a hole but just a need where some competition would be nice.
Oline is somewhere where we need some youth and FA adds. WR too.

I actually agree with most of it except for having Aaron Glenn on there twice, not having a FB and keeping Rivera, who I hope is cut.

Man - watch our Safety play in coverage. Its bad.

It can get better, we don't need another superstar in the secondary. Our money needs to be spent in other areas. We need a #1 WR, Linebacker help, and O-line help.

How much money will we have tied up in the secondary next year? Add Law's probable compensation and that is getting out of hand for one area.

Abraham is the over the top add - makes our D nasty.
Cycle in Gabe Watson at NT rotation..... Blue/Stratton at Safety!

Pope and Baskett are offensive weapons!

Runyon an upgrade? It go for it in 2006 with a foundation in place for a dynasty run.

Blue is a stong safety i doubt we waste a first day pick on him

You are forgetting that Law is going to give Parcells a discount even though he has said he wants to be paid like an all pro cb and only wants to play cb.

My team next year.

Free Agents

K -Adam Vinatieri

OLB - John Abraham

C - Lee Charles Bently (love that name)

WR -
Az-Zahir Hakim (He's won't cost much and he's fast. Will be good with 2 speed receivers and a Key Type receiver.

Draft / Trades

Trade Glover and your number 1 to move up and take ILB Ahmad Brooks

Trade Ellis and your 5 for a 2 and a 4 to some poor team in need of a passrush.

Draft

Round1- ILB Ahmad Brooks 6'3 - 259 - fast and a beast (if he slips, hold off on the glover trade)

Round2 - OT Daryn Colledge 6'5 - 298 - Outstanding pass and run blocker, excellent foot work ( he would add 10 to 15 pounds in offseason)

Round2 - DT Gabe Watson 6'4 - 333 - Line clogger, pushes the pile big time ( must lose about 8 pounds in offseason)

Round3 - FS Anthony Smith 6'0 190 - Outstanding cover safety and will come up and help on the run (needs 10 to 15 more pounds over the next 3 years)

Round4 - WR Todd Watkins 6'3 - 185 (4.28 40) He can sit and watch Key and Company for a year, and be a stud in year 2. But the guy is fasssst.

Round6 - OT Zach Strief 6''7 - 335 - Don't know much about the guy yet, but I'll do more research shortly. But I just want it to be a battle at RT this up coming training camp.

Round7 - OG John Glass 6'4 - 320 - Same here, he's just big and I'm sure he'll be a prospect.

My 2006 team

Offense and second team offense
QB - Drew Bledsoe / Drew Henson /

RB - Julius Jones / Marion Barber /

FB - Lousaka Polite

TE - Jason Witten / Dan Campbell

WR - Keyshawn Johnson - Terry Glenn - Az Hakim - Patrick Crayton

C - Lee Charles Bently / Al Johnson

RG - Marco Rivera (if healthy) / Andre Gurode

RT - (R) Daryn Colledge / Rob Petitti

LG - Larry Allen / Andre Gurode

LT - Flozell Adams / Stephen Peterman

PR - Patrick Crayton / (R)Todd Watkins

Defense (starters only)

NT - Jason Ferguson / Gabe Watson ( who will start week 6 )

RE - Chris Canty

LE - Marcus Spears

ILB - Bradie James

JLB - (R) Ahmad Brooks

SLB - John Abraham

WLB - Demarcus Ware

LCB - Terence Newman

RCB - Anthony Henry / Aaron Glen

FS - (R) Anthony Smith

SS - Roy Williams

K - Adam Vinatieri

P - Mat Mcbriar

Our defense would be unstoppable and our offense would be able to run the ball better than Kansas City.

Runyon no way. We dont need another old overpaid free agent olinemen. We need to draft Marcus McNeill in the draft.

Gabe Watson is an option because I think we may cut/trade Glover before next season. Kwakou Robinson in the later rds would be good.

Blue no thanks, we need a cover guy not another hitter.

Baskett is a great pick I think he could be a star.

Pope is a bad pick we dont need another TE that high. Witten already should be catching like 10 a game and there arent enough balls to go around, especially with Baskett.

Abraham is another old overpaid free agent we need to avoid. Burnett can fill the olb position.

I like Schlegel at ilb he's a good 3-4 guy.

Vinateri would be our biggest free agent signing of the year and his clutch play in the playoffs could lead us to the super bowl.

The only problem I'd have with Az Hakim is that he's very injury prone but he'd be an upgrade on punt returns.

Who is the #3 QB? Collins? Kerry or some guy in the draft?

If that was for me, I didn't put Romo's name down. I didn't put 3rd stringers in there because who knows what BP will do with the bottom of the roster.

No, I was curious. Nors had someone named "Collins" as the #3 QB on his 53.

It was the only thing I was unclear on. The rest was the agenda filled drivel I'd expect from Nors.

I think either Henson will move to the number 2 spot, or he'll be gone.

So....you don't know who this "Collins" is either?

This thread has the wrong title.

It should be Nors agenda consolidation thread.

Hay - I had Troy Brown penciled in and took him out. That was a very objective 53 man team. Damn strong team too I might add.

Did you intend to put Stephen Peterman at tackle? He's Larry Allen's backup at G, currently. Not sure if he could play T...

Also, lately I've heard questions regarding Ahmad Brooks heart. I think he may slide in the draft and we'd have a chance to get him by standing pat. I know you wrote hold off on Glover trade if he slides... but I'm just saying I think he will slide.

Glover is still a very good player... if we trade him and our #1... we better move up a lot.

Vinateri would be a HR as well as Abraham. Abraham and Ware could take this D to a whole new level. Get Law some $ and into FS and winning a SB. This is a SPECIAL defense. Draft a Gabe Watson to put between Spears and Canty and we have potentially a monstrous front line........
