Today driving to Foxboro to see the Pats/Bills game I questioned sitting in traffic in and out for hours to tailgate. Now tailgating is the nuts. Merits galore with great food, drinks and the pre game.
Going in today with Sons we decided to try the commuter rail ride in. Parking these days for games is $40-$50. And with new mall construction on site traffic is mad. Price for rail, $12 with kids free. Catch train at 11:30 and at seats by 12:00. Train out at 4:30 and Straight to car and home by 5:15. That blows away sitting in traffic for hours but you miss the tailgating.
Scouting the Patriots today for down the line:
This may flat out be the best Patriot Team I have ever seen in person. Far more talented than the 01/03/04 SB versions. Now will that translate to a SB in 2007? No guarantee
Pats Oline is giving Brady all year to throw back there. If that continues its lites out to Defenses forward.
I think Pats kept all those old tapes and NFL needs to look deeper. They were all over everything the Bills were doing, obviously.
Randy Moss is a beast, he looks bigger this year physically in shape. He was again a beast out there. Brady will continue to get 141 QB ratings with Moss deep and Wes Walker underneath. Walker may be as quick a WR as I have ever seen. Rival's Terry Glenns quicks....
Junior Seau was all over the field. It's amazing how good he is still at his age. Also noted Merriweather is a backup at Safety.
JP Losman out early with bruised knee, ego. He was shellacked on the second hit.
M Lynch is a big back with moves that will be good in this game but he dances too much and is indecisive some.
Maroney is the back BP would covet. He hits the holes hard.
Bills were so overmatched it was almost embarassing.
Pats were changing offensive personell almost play by play and TE Kyle Brady is as big as most OLine guys. O'Callahan also in a lot as tackle eligible.
Pats / Cowboys going to be an epic matchup.
I don't think we can handle Pats WR's and multiple looks. Worried that the Hoodie will have film and expose Romo and Redball.
