you know romo 2, you really should do some research before posting something like that. A couple of minutes doing that will save you a lot of embarrassment at looking like a total fool. NK has done things like that for more then 50 years. Kidnappings, assassinations, and so on.

No kidding. This is like going to a gunfight with no ammunition and a plugged barrel.

The North Koreans have been pulling all sorts of violent activities for decades. Most soldiers that I talked to who worked the DMZ told me that there were nightly incursions along its length, guns fired, people killed, etc. The North Koreans have not been shy about killing/kidnapping and such in foreign countries either.

IF Romo 2 does even a little bit of research he would pull up all sorts of stories on such events. Lacking this sort of thing will not help give his other opinions much credence.

I said how, not why, because I don't :laugh2:

I don't know how you do it. I mean I could not...but then again I served my country and was stationed in S.Korea for a year so I probably have a little more understanding of the tensions between the two countries than you do. I just don't see S.Korea pulling a canadian bacon situation to try and get N.Korea to attack them especially when they know N.Korea could do some serious damage to them and already have many, many, MANY targets mapped out in S.Korea.

So maybe it is your youth, maybe it is puberty causing too much testosterone running through that body where you were not used to it before...not sure how you could hate the greatest country in the world.

romo 2, when a snake has been biting for 50 years you act surprised when it bites you. Think about that for a while.

By the way, google HILL 303, Korean War.

I'm just saying I prefer to give people/nations the benefit of the doubt, except for Roy Williams. I never get mad, ya'll should've noticed that by now. Only at rw11.

No doubt about it. The South has done allot to appease the North including giving them humanitarian aid and fuel. Much of this to avoid a conflict but the game changes now that the North fired on and sank a South Korean ship
Yep. I'm actually surprised what all South Korea has done for North Korea. I think it's because the South Koreans feel sorry for their northern neighbors, but if I were in charge of SK there would be no more NK...

Same here. "Hey, they blow up our ships but lets give them fuel and food."

It is because many Koreans (at least in the South) want to be a united country. Now they don't want it to be under someone like Lil Kim but many do want to be united.

That is not saying anything bad about the South Korean people. They just want to see the suffering of many N. Koreans stop and want to be one country that can exist in a peaceful state.

Yeah. It really isn't the fault of the North Korean people. Millions of them are starving. But I do consider Kim Jong Il to be extremely dangerous and he needs to be taken out. Although that could very well cause a bloody war that has massive casualties for both sides, so that would be another reason not to go to war.

I love history in general, but I hate how they rush through all the mistakes we made as a country, like the Korean/Vietnam war, earn em in 2 days. wth? While the American Revolution takes 3 months.

It was like pulling teeth for me. I'm just not a history buff.

Louisiana History was a little interesting though.
