I've always seen him as a Cowboy. Hope it's not health related. Zimmer probably gave him the opportunity to step down rather than being fired.

I don't follow the Vikings but I would be surprised if they are laying the blame on Norv. This just in, if you have a QB that requires decent protection and RBs that require decent holes then you are SOL if your offensive line sucks. Blame the GM and head coach.

Their o-line stinks and their QB is awful.

There isn't much anybody can do with that. Peterson may help when he gets back. But defenses are just going to stak the box and make Bradford beat them, which he can't do.

I think Turner tried to make it work with Bradford, but he simply could not. A sitting duck QB, bad OL and Turner's system (like Garrett's) with its slow developing plays is not a good combination.

Now it goes to Shurmur, who has been Bradford's biggest shill since he came into the league. I don't think it ends all that well for them and takes down one of our competition for the conference down a notch.

Yes, I would be too. Linehan has one more year on his contract after this season. Unless he somehow gets a HC offer....well, he might...LOL...

point was with shurmur calling plays they won 7 games and he was the rookie of the year. He hasn't been that good anywhere else.

and like I said it means nothing at this point.

Good thing about our coordinators is that they are failed head coaches(especially Marinelli). This makes them easier to retain as coordinators assuming they like working with Jaskn.

I hope we resign linehan. He is a tremendous offensive coach and play caller. Mike Pope said this is his last year so I would hate to have new guys in a lot of spots on the offensive side of the ball.
