I guess Norv wasn't a bad coach after all. In Washington, the FO never gave him a decent kicker. The Skins collapsed in '96 b/c I believe of kicking issues. And remember the back-back losses in '00 that resulted in his firing, the kicker missed potential game winners. In Oakland, well...everyone is destined to fail there.

I will say one thing-the Chargers have finished strong under him. Sure, they haven't had tough schedules, but when they could have easily folded, they turned it up a notch. If they play the Steelers again, they will win.

Yeah. A lot of people, myself included, didn't want Norv here but he's got a team, with similar but less overall, talent and he's gotten them to the playoffs 2 years in a row and last year got them to the AFC championship game.

Right now passing on Norv seems like a pretty bad move.

Actually looks more like even considering either of them as a HC candidate was a bad move, especially when a guy we already had in the organization just turned around a 1-15 team into the playoffs.

There were a couple of games this season where the Chargers got hosed, big time, by the refs. Sure, it's not an excuse, but they were very blatant. They could have easily been 12-4 instead.

Ultimately, they really played with alot of fire in the final sprint, too bad we didn't.

San Diego is actually playing fairly well right now and you dont see the countless stupid penalties over and over.

2 seasons vs. 0 seasons in the playoffs? Well, if that's the case then it is really 2-1.
