All my years watching him, I have never seen anything good come from him in my opinion. I will never read or listen to him. What makes life great though, is you and anyone else can listen to him if you want!

I know Fish from when he ran dallasbasketball.com, a Mavs site. He would ban anyone that pointed this out. He has never broken stories or posted any original ideas. He is a grifter.

All he does is act obnoxious, pretend to give things away, respond to a few fans supposedly chatting in, ring an old school bell, and give fluff (often vague/nothing) opinions. Terrible.

While I somewhat agree with that, it has proven that it won't work. Jerry just loves the attention. He says it all the time. We have to start taking him for his word. What I have always said is media shouldn't start calling him out, they need to stop showing up PERIOD! Fans need to stop clicking on anything Cowboys related (except Cowboyszone of course) . Videos, stories, twitter posts. Cause if those media outlets see that Cowboys' stories get no traffic, they will no longer hire beat writers, send reporters etc. No one goes to Jerry post game press conferences. That is the only way to get Jerry's attention imo.

But to think they will all of a sudden go and use cap space in 2025? Hope it happens but I don't believe anything with these Cowboys until they do it. We have been wondering the same thing for years though? They haven't done it since Brandon Carr. They truly believe not spending is the way to go. They have showed this for years. Why are we not believingbthat this is how they feel. Stephen and Jerry BOTH made those comments about Philly and the Rams this week.

Fish doesnt have access to jerry, and rarely talks to him in person.
Jerry is like royalty, he doesnt mingle with the peasants, workers, or even the nobles.

Um....in April I posted during his podcast that we were gonna suck this year based on doing nothing in FA...he called me out personally and snapped back with "(my name)You don't know that!".....well, yes I did. 99% of the time he is a boot licker that only pretends to talk tough and be critical.

We did not improve our roster from last year. It was not really that difficult to figure it out.

Mike Fisher has always been a "go with the flow" type reporter. Finally things have reached a point that the majority of Cowboy fans are anti-Jones. So, Fisher has switched to that side in the past few months to get hits on his pod cast. Strictly a business move.

That is not good reporting or being a good journalists. A talented reported doing his job would blast the subject when they are wrong and give them credit when they get things correct. It is not about the reported; it is about the subject/people they are covering. Much of the local media has been very lazy covering the Cowboys. They take easy puff pro Cowboys stories fed them by the FO and forgo real reporting. Recently that is showing signs of change, thank goodness.

I have long said and posted here that the local media is weak in their coverage of the Cowboy FO. However, in the past few months things are looking up and I sense a shift in the right direction.

We fans get it. At least the majority of us who see the true problems. It is good to see the local media guys finally coming around. It sure took them long enough.
