Yes, Gus it was immediately noticable, but understandable.

I am just hoping now to get him back well and strong and contact ready by mid season

Carter still at QB... 3rd down pass over the middle to the TE incomplete-the ball was right there.
 
Interesting, that 3rd and 12 pass was one of those that are hard to figure out on TV....it was either a very good pass by QC that the receiver had knocked loose by the safety. OR....it was a pass that QC should have released a bit earlier (it took him a while to throw the ball) and by not doing so, the safety had time to react.

Whatever it was, I have to say...I can't believe I am watching QC again.

hmm, unless the Jets are just dropping everything doesnt seem the Q is doing so good by the box score...says he is 6/13 for a whopping 46 yds (about 3.5 yds per, which tells me he is still throwing the dink and dunk stuff)...also says he has a fumble

is the boxscore wrong or something? some of you are gushing like he is just picking apart the eagles...

I saw that one - Ricks, another almost sure cut, is no Jason Witten.

if there is one thing Q should regret and learn to appreciate it's this - what he had in Dallas was playing with first string players. He might not have had a packed roster to work with, but he had some vets who would help him along and some quality youngsters. As a slotted backup, he will have to take what he's given.

and tonight, it could not get much worse, LOL

Good night, Gus.

Carter threw a fairly nice one on the run, about 20 yrd or so ,the receiver's toes looked like a challenge could have proved it was inbounds, but Edwards didn't challenge..

for the sake of the young receiver's confidence, I should think he would have, preseason or no.

But evidently Herm is as anxious to go to bed as Gus is.
 
What kinda cruel irony is it that I am left alone here to post about Quincy Carter??!!
