Austin is out
Harris is very limited

This looks like double coverage for sure for Dez and possibly for Witten too.

T Williams and lil Cole Beasely will have to step up!

Meanwhile, Denver trots out....
Demaryius Thomas (their version of Dez)
Wes Welker (unguardable slot)
Eric Decker (very good too)
Julius Thomas (their version of Jimmy Graham)

Out 'Boys are going to have to play out of their minds.
Nothing is impossible though.

This needs to be a redemption game for Williams and a huge one at that.

I missed it, what happened to Harris? Last week he just had a hip pointer and played... Did something else happen to him?

I think he's got an ankle, too. And the pointer was pretty bad.

I don't think we need big games out of either of those guys really.

We just can't tip our hand to the defense with the assumption that those guys can go out and beat their man straight up... because that's just asking for trouble.

Use play-action. Run out of passing formations to keep the safeties honest.

And use Williams how he should be used-- as a deep threat to stretch the field or clear out space for Bryant/Witten underneath. And if the decoy doesn't work, trust Williams to beat his guy downfield and take a shot. If it's intercepted, it might as well have been a punt.

WR and LB were two positions we were deep going in to camp and coming out of camp. Now they are somewhat a question mark. Injuries to both Harris and Austin are hard to handle when you only have 5 WRs on the roster. At LB we have Carter struggling and Durant with a groin strain.

I don't think McCray is very comfortable right now. If the Cowboys need to make a move for either a LB or WR, I would expect McCray to go.

We could bring Tim Benford up from the practice squad, but he'll have to stay for three weeks.

Oh, and someone would have to be cut or go to IR to make room.

I like Beasley. I think he could be a player if the Cowboys ever figure out how to implement a reliable passing game.

Same for Harris.

Miles being out isn't a factor in my opinion. I think he's way overvalued by the public.

Good activate all running backs , give them each one or two series and repeat it , keep the Denver D grasping for air and keep Peyton on sideline.

And when he gets on field , hit him every occasion possible.

Use Dunbar in space as WR

Why are we not getting Escobar and Hanna more involved? I expected them to have more than 5-8 or so catches combined at this point in the season

Nothing is impossible though.

Just keep in mind that the single game passing yard record is 554yds set by Norm Van Brocklin.

Despite 5 takeaways, the Dallas D still gave up 450yds to Eli Week1. This could get ugly.

BEST way to keep Manning from doing this is to keep Manning on the sidelines. The Dallas offense MUST control the clock and score TDs, not settle for FGs.

Thankfully it looks as if Selvie will be back in the linup, Dallas needs all the help they can get to put pressure on Peyton

I hope so. It seems Jones is injured and may not play; Wilber would take his place. Not that I dislike Wilber, I just don't think he can hold the edge on running downs.

Selvie is working full pads today and expected to play
