Dear fellow Zoners---of course i promised no PLATS this season....but according to many pundits we got no shot against high octane offense of Lions

especially depleted defense that was not even playing well when not depleted.....i have been cowboy fan since January 1971...53 years...and if this

was the day of Staubach even with everything against us i always knew we could pull out a win.....OK this is Dak's team now and i know some to many

of you dont like Dak....but say what you will....yes he made some awful interceptions....but he also dug deep in crunch time....and had awareness and strength

to haul in a fumble when no one blocked for Rico....then Tolbert hurt on next play that should have been easy TD....then one play left.......and finally fat Mike

gave us an offense with a lot of motion....tolbert comes all the way cross and had less than 1 yd separation and Dak delivered a bullet to only spot Tolbert could

have caught it....and Tolbert was playing like a real #2....he was hurt but would not let defender strip him and TD and we win against all odds....I aint counting out

the Cowboys this week...NO WAY.....if you hate cowboys i understand you want them to lose....but please dont be a fence rider....dont count out Silver and Blue

Huge Mistake if you do....please love to hear your views on this huge game?????????
no miracles.
detroit is coming in for revenge.
their offense is clicking on all cylinders.
they can run the ball real well and our defense can't stop the run

another 200+ rushing day against our defense.

they score at least 35.
our offense is not capable of 35.

Won't take a miracle.

We're 3-point underdogs this week. We were 2.5-point underdogs last week.
If we only have 6 points with 12 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, would that be enough against the number of points the Detroit offense will probably put up?

Can’t remember the last time the Cowboys were 3 point underdogs at home. This is their second straight home game where they’re underdogs. that hasn’t happened in a while. The Cowboys are currently 0-3 at home dating back to the playoff loss to Green Bay. This is after winning 16 straight at home.

Probably not, but what kind of question is that?

That's like me asking, "If the Lions only have 3 points at halftime like the Steelers did, would that be enough for them to beat us?"

Is scoring at home vs Detroit as difficult as scoring on the road (in terrible weather) at Pittsburgh?

Steelers are 7th in defensive efficiency, Lions are 17th.

Two totally different teams, two totally different games.

You can almost bet the farm that if the Cowboys beat the Lions, Gorico will start another PLAT thread, could even be a double or quadruple PLAT. Lol

Just pointing out the offense will have to up their game against Detroit and the Defense that played very well against the Steelers will have to overachieve despite having key injuries. Two different teams, but last weeks offensive effort won't cut it this time.

Don't count out the Silver and Blue?

The Lions are silver and blue too.

DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU JUST DID?

I think you need to triple Plat it. That way the Plat jinx cancels out this jinx.

yes dallas can win, but alot depends on MM and his game plan and play calling.

I think detroit is probably the best team dallas has faced this season. It will be interesting.

Many fans seem to think the OL lineup for pitt game was better than before, so will mm keep that going or go back to guyton at LT etc.
Me thinks jerry will want to go back to previous lineup, lets see what they do lol.

Last year both teams wore all white socks, and our tight end got called for a tripping penalty that was committed by the Lions. If I remember correctly, it would of put us at 1st and goal. A touchdown would have put the game out of reach, and we wouldn't have had to go through the lineman reporting eligible BS.

Who could ever forget the enriched plutonium plat he dropped for the Green Bay game. Legendary.
He claimed he was done with PLATS after that but I said he would be right back at it next season…bingo! He’s claimed several times he was done with them. He needs to find another.schtick.

I guess I just have a different perspective on how the offense performed Sunday night... on the road, in crummy weather, vs one of the best defenses in football.

445 total yards, winning time of possession, 9/15 on 3rd down and 1/1 on 4th down (to win the game).

I'll take that every single week, no matter the opponent or venue.

The turnovers and blocked FG made the score closer than it should've been, and yes we do need to clean those things up. But the offense's overall performance was actually pretty good.
