Your pet player may not be “the problem” but not being “the problem” isn’t good enough.

We are a franchise where competing for titles should be the expectation.

We need players who will be “the solution” instead of “not being the problem”.

Possibly. But the problems on O are so huge, it's not that easy to tell.

The problem is Dak isn’t good enough to take a bunch of no name receivers and elevate fhem much like a seasoned Romo did. That was unfair to Dak to leave him with a ton of crap for skill players. A 4th round QB with accuracy issues in his 3rd season and that’s what they give him??? Add a coaching staff that isn’t doing him any favors with the game plan.

In the salary cap era, you can't have all "solution" players on your roster. As long as you have some "solution" players and not too many "problem" players, you can win. EaGirls won the SB last year with backups at QB, LT, MLB, and CB.

This is why coaching is more important now than before the salary cap was implemented.

Does anyone else see the hypocrisy of those
defending Dak typically are critical of Romo? They excuse Dak's poor play by claiming he has no surrounding talent, appearantly understanding it's a team game, but then turning right around and squarely blaming Romo for the team's lack of post season success.

This team has won two playoff games in the last 22 seasons (likely soon to be 23). A superbowl should be a the hope, not the expectation at this point.

And vice versa? Two way street. Romo was also “not the problem”.

Yup. We have fallen far. So far, in fact, many fans are just satisfied if their favorite player isn’t blamed.

….maybe Dak should stop talking and focus on producing. Film don't lie.

Dallas had a complete offense in 2016 and its rookie 4th RD QB gave an organization hope. In 2017 a #1 WR with declining speed and injury plagued OL season and a RB waiting for a suspension did he season in. And this yr the team had no plan after Dez being released and witten retiring. People expecting to have this type of season. Dak isnt Brady, Brees, or Rodgers..He's a good QB who like almost every other QB in the NFL, you need weapons to be successful. You need good coaches. This organization is failing him and the players with what they have in place. Dallas problem right now is the system. No they wont be a legit contender with what they got in place. But Dak is far from the problem and isnt holding this team back.

Who's playing awesome on offense? Elliott? Martin? Sure.

Everyone else is just "good enough" or they just plain suck balls.

Linehan shouldn't be calling plays. The "Best O line & RB" ain't cutting it. Prescott isn't good enough to overcome that.

I really don't pay much attention to these types.

If you acknowledge that it's not true (Dak not being Romo's equal) than how are both sides being hypocrites in this specific case?
Because Romo fans think nothing was his fault yet see fault in everything Dak does. You surely aren’t blind to all those discussions.

Everybody is “Part” of the problem but not the “Entire” problem...
