Not to put a damper on this win as it was a good one, but I think it was a bit amateurish that the Cowboys could not run out the clock with just over a minute at the end and once again gave the ball up. Those final plays IMO were from a confused coaching staff. It told me that the Cowboys lacked confidence to call pays to grab yardage or cause a waste of a time out with a short pass possibly.

It was a good win but with clock management and play calling like that didn't show SB caliber coaching.

My apologies if Im not clapping for our final offensive plays.

Ya I have some reservations as well but it did make the eagles use all 3 timeouts .the offense made it pretty simple to defend they were not gonna be very creative

Its like they jerryrigged that do to lack of experience. Very amateurish. You dont want to give that ball back to a better QB.

To run out the clock you have to have clock management skills, and Red doesn't even know how to tell time yet.

I think he was clapping so loud the team couldn't hear the count properly and screwed up the plays.

The point I want to make is that to win a SB, you have to be good in all areas of the game not just one or two areas that allow you to win a good game here and there. It was a good win.

It made Philly use all 3 timeouts, and was more aggressive than just 3 straight dive plays.

Hard to get yards when Philly which has a good defense knows you won’t be taking shots downfield.

It would have been nice to get a first down and end the game with the ball.

I'm not sure why people don't understand that the Cowboys are not a very good team, it's like they just tuned in for the first time.

They beat the Eagles, which is a big victory, but that doesn't mean they're suddenly good, so why the surprise that they went 3 and out?

Enjoy the win people, we've had some tough losses, it's okay to enjoy the team winning a game.

I would have run zeke 3 times.. still make them use their time outs but also give you a good chance at picking up the 1st and ending the game right there.

Zeke had made close to 40 yards on the previous drive.. and some long runs.. so give him three chances to crash the line.. otherwise you are still in the same boat of punting with under a minute left.

I said it in another thread but the screen pass to bease was stupid. So much room for error and unnecessary imho.

But the playcalling on the last drive looked like something drawn on the sidelines, people going the wrong direction and stuff. Just bad plays that never had a chance.

It’s amateurish to think that every time something doesn’t work it’s because the coaches called the wrong plays.

I think we lost yards lol. Reminded me of something out of the keystone cops.

They used all 3 TOs, which is priority 1 in that situation. Yeah, the screen was a head scratcher but it didn’t do any damage 3 straight dives would’ve done. It was actually kinda risky, but haven’t we been asking for them to be less conservative? I agree though, you have to be smart and balance it out in the right situations. I see your point but in the end Garrett-top was able to accomplish what was needed in that situation.

I honestly thought the eagles would tie up.. we've seen this type of crap before

Can't fault the coaches for the last drive really. You are looking there to make them use their three time outs, try and pin them back, and make them go the length of the field against your D (which they hadn't done very well for most of the game). We pay the players on D for a reason. The offense did their job, the defense did their job, we came away with a win.

That last series was scary.....having Dak throwing that pass to Beaz. That was the time to just Man up....but no one is gonna do that. Does Garret appear to take charge in key moments? I still think he just looks and listens on the headphones.....nor do you see him talking to a group on the sidelines. Just smiling and clapping.

true it was hard to watch but the OP wanted something to gripe about..lol they know you are trying to run clock and loaded the box for any short stuff, they would have had too throw and that high risk and wouldn't have philly stopping clock..they havent been in that postion in while they are rusty lol..they did fine..we won
