Was watching something about it on NFL network.

The cowboys have one player with a recognizable nickname that has stuck, Marion "The Barbarian" Barber.

Oh I guess you can also add "BIGG" to that as well.

Why don't Romo, Ware, Ratliff, Newman, Witten or anyone else have nicknames that "Stick"?

We should put a list together, pick the names and refer to them as their nicknames from now on till they stick.

Here's a few ideas:

Romo = Moxie

Ware = BeWare

Ratliff = Hulk (cuz he always does that "Hulk Smash" dance after he gets a sack)

Newman = ...

Witten = No Quittin'

Brady James = Cinder Block (cuz he hits like one, but unfortunately he runs like one too)

Not all players need nicknames. Only the good ones.

What do you guys got?

Watching our defenders celebrate kinda irks me sometimes.

Celebrate when you get off the field on 3rd down. Until then get up and go back to the huddle.

You know what I've noticed? Every time someone on our D makes a play, they always do their own little celebration. You never see them celebrating together.

I'm talking about them celebrating together not elaborate group celebrations.

Here's what I call the players ...
"Fair Catch" - Patrick Crayton
"Folk Hero" - Nick Folk
"Fast Felix" - Felix Jones

I liked "Newspaper" for Newman. That one was popular for like 2 weeks on this board.

Warewolf - DeMarcus Ware

Ratliff goes by J-Rat on his official ******* and website.

And obvious there are the nicknames that already exist - "Killa" Keith Davis, Marion "The Barbarian", Ken "The Hammer" Hamlin, Roy "Superman" Williams, Patrick "Spiderman" Watkins, Leonard "Bigg" Davis, and Flozell "The Hotel" Adams.

Huh? T.O., Tank, and Pacman are 3 of the most recognizable nicknames in the entire NFL.

Ware refers to himself as "The Warewolf"

I think nicknames should be given to players by the fans (or teammates) not by themselves.

And "TO" isn't a nickname, People. Those are his initials.

T-New isn't a nickname, it's an abbreviation.

Again, TO isn't a nickname.

As for the other two, refer back to my original post...

Not all players need nicknames. Only the good ones.

Pacman isn't in the NFL at the moment (or ever again) and Tank sucks.
