Not getting these selections.

I agree, let's jump.
Is there a monkey making these picks? see my other thread...

Just because you haven't heard of them doesn't mean they can't play. I trust our scouts when it comes to small school guys.

Normally I don't really question these things... but ***? Looks like Jerral is taking a page out of the 'Al Davis Guide to the Draft'.

DeMarcus Ware wasn't a household name when we picked him in the first round.

Turned out pretty good. Give them a chance.

No doubt. We're getting smaller school guys. Not many people knew of a little school in Alabama called Troy back then. I'm just hoping that we are spot on with these guys and not just taking a couple of stabs in the dark.

This has the look of a Larry Lacewell draft! Backups and special teamers because you think your team is set. I'm not real thrilled but there's lots of action left so we will see.

I'll help you out. The tendancy when draft rolls around is to want your team to draft name guys who the media agrees are great value picks. When that doesn't happen it make you nervous because you are not in charge and can't do a thing about it. Trust that the Cowboys did their due diligance and are now drafting guys that will help this team in the locker room and on the field. We needed OL S and LB help. We got 2 of the three so far.

I think these picks make sense. The Williams pick replaces Kevin Burnett in the nickel and special teams and Brewster is developmental OL that projects to OG. These picks make sense. Are they value? Not sure.

I'm not complaining about a draft where we didn't have any first day picks.

But so far, I have no complaints. ILB and OG are positions where we need help. Maybe both will be starters by year 2 or 3. That's the goal.

Well, at least you have toned down some.

I agree, anyone not want a linebacker who runs a 4.4 not playing on special teams

I'm still pissed. I think they have screwed this thing up and the last few picks just solidify it. Tate, Barden, and Turner are now gone. I think they gambled they could get one in the 4th. I don't see any reason they are not trading up. The talent is going quick and they are going to be stuck with a bunch of picks. I see every NFC East team except Dallas is better today than they were on Friday. Dallas just has two more bottom of the roster guys and a bunch of picks in a rapidly dwindling talent pool.

You must not be watching the NFLN. They really like what we have done so far.

Problem is, Jerry acts like this team is a bunch of special teamers away from being contenders. We're not.
