We're 2 games back of first place at the 1/4 stick.

I believe in this football team. Very bizarre game today with some of the individuals that are normally rock solid. No excuses, we just didn't rise up to the occasion. It was a non-conference game though, and if you are gonna lose one, those are the best to lose.

The only phase of the game that really scares me is our special teams, whether it's our FG kicking or coverage on punts and kickoffs.

I'm not throwing in the towel, either. Once you reach a certain age, every season is precious. Wishing for "next year" to hurry up and get here is for youngsters and fools.

glad to know I'm still young and foolish:eek::

Evenbid we come back I just feel it'll be another playoff exit with this team :(

Heck I'm 27 and I understand that.

12 games left. I'm willing to wait to see how it plays out first.

We are really only 1 1/2 games back not 2. We still have a chance but the glim part is looking at who we lost to and who we still have to play.

Going on the road to Min, GB and Indy not to mention Philly and NY. I hope they can pull it together but I dont see them winning more then 8 games.

With the way this team is playing I'm thinking wildcard, 10-6

so be it...

Whatever it takes is what this team needs to do.

Season over period and this is from an old guy that is way patient with players and preach it with young players. The issue is what is wrong is not going away with the current staff in it's current configuration. Season is dead and it is over. The math said two week ago said this team was on life support when they started 0-2 and after today another nail was placed in the Coffin and next week we will be buried

With the way we are playing now don't be shocked if we end up 5-11 or less.

Well said. I'm young but I don't want "next year" to get here at all.

I'll still believe in this team until we are mathematically eliminated. Just the way I am...

I'm with ya. what do i have to lose? besides my sports pride, and i can handle that if it comes to it.

I agree.

As crazy at is sounds, this thing is far from over.

The teams in the NFC don't scare anyone, imo.

I'd rather lose to the Titans and beat the Vikings if I only could get one of them.

Dallas heads to Minnesota 0-2 in the NFC, and it was going to be a must win game anyway.

Dallas has Minnesota right where they want them.

The team is going to get the deserved heat and their back is really up against the wall now.

The Vikings can be had. They are far from flawless.

Dallas needs to get the lead, run the football, play a clean game in all three phases, and make the Vikings pass the ball 40+ times.

You know they will not respect the Cowboys after watching all those mistakes on film.

Same old record with this team. If we were just getting beaten by flat-out better teams for 60 minutes, I'd have more optimism because you know eventually things will even out. But instead, we are our biggest opponent. We beat ourselves. That might be worse than anything. You can always regroup after getting beaten. But when you beat YOURSELF...what can you do? Every week now, we have to game plan to stop the other team and then try to stop ourselves from losing the game too. It's like 11 vs. 22

Like Dallas would even do anything if they were able to sneak into the playoffs.

This team can't put together back to back weeks without laying a big crapper on the field. If by some miracle they were able to get to the playoffs, it'd be one and done.

Also, the teams we have to beat are still on the schedule:

@ Minnesota
New York Giants (2)
Philadelphia (2)
Washington
New Orleans
@ Green Bay

That is 8 shots to do something right there. That is half of a season.

There is still a path to the playoffs. Beat those teams. Period. The division games are going to decide it, any way. Dallas still has 5 of those games left.

Detroit
Jacksonville
@ Indianapolis
@ Arizona

I watched the Chiefs today get the Colts in a 9-6 game, and Bowe dropped a TD right in his hands.

You don't know if Dallas will win, but you know they have the personnel to win all of those games.
