but Roy Williams is a good guy. Ok, his play has been underwhelming but he sets his ego aside and is a team player. His cooments on Dez:

"Yeah, with Dez it opens up competition which brings out the best in the guys," Williams said.

"So to me whether we drafted him or not, we wanted to be the best in the league. It doesn't matter who they draft, I have to focus on my game. It's not about the quarterback, the offensive coordinator, it's on me."

"If all goes well -- not trying to talk noise -- but if all goes well, we'll have the best wide receiving corps in the league," Williams said. "Dez is a big dude, he can play. He will help us win some ballgames."

He is saying the right things now it is time to put up or shut up. This guy has all the talent in the world and I really hope he can turn it around because there is no doubt we will have the best trio in the league.

I have never had issues with team play or his character because he is a good guy. My problem with him is his focus and determination in the game. His not running precise routes, given up on plays and just not being effective. But I am optimistic. Hopefully he can turn it around and be one of the weapons that can help get to the promise land.

I don't think Roy is just saying the right things. I think he really likes the kid and believes he makes the Cowboys a better team. He also knows that he isn't going anywhere, but he had better step up his game. Dez can help open up things for both Roy and Miles. It's a great "problem" to have.

I have always like Roy as a personality. I loved how excited he was to come back to Dallas. I never thought his problem was personality. He is a very likable player. The problem people have is production. We all expected a go to guy out of Roy. I never wasted much time watching the Lions play. But when i did see them it always seemed that Roy could go up and catch everything near him. I remember him scoring a few TD against us. I remember him scoring a few against the Eagles also.
Unfortunately i can remember more of his production on the Lions than i can on the cowboys.

Reality is someone will be demoted beyond their potential. If Dez is what he seems to be talent wise and Austin is what he was last year then it will be Roy. He is older, plays slower, and wont be here or will be a 3rd receiver.

After his myriad of stupid comments last year underhandedly blaming Romo for him not getting good balls and all that, I fully expected him to say some boneheaded stuff about the Dez pick, but I am glad to be proven wrong. And as a Cowboys fan, whether I like how he's produced so far or not(I haven't obviously), my hope is that Miles, Dez, and Roy are all catching everything thrown their way and scoring TDs left and right. After we win the Super Bowl we can figure out what to do with one of our 3 2010 Pro Bowl receivers. :D :D :D

If Roy performs well I expect to see the 3 wr set as the base offense. Even if he doesn't it still may happen with Ogletree being the third guy.

I for one thinks Roy will be fine this year. Too much talent not to get it. We are going to be great, how do they gameplan for us.

Get open and shut the hell up.

Then ask all your media buddies to leave him the hell alone and stop asking him questions. He is not just going around offering his thoughts. The Dallas media is searching for a story. If he doesn't say anything then they will portray him as some sort of malcontent and will make up the story that he is unhappy.

Roy does get open but Romo's balls alot of the time aren't even catchable or in some case intensive care passes. Some of the slant routes, the ball is either way over his head, at his feet or behind him, that's on the QB, not the receiver. Roy Has to stop dropping balls though, that's a big problem he's been having and he hasn't been *****ing and whining like that other habitual pass dropper and complainer T.O, although the media have been trying to make something out of nothing in his comments

Roy knows if he gets his act together he can stay as the #3 receiver. Glad he's saying the right things.

RW should be happy Dez is here because now RW will be facing the opponents 3rd best corner every week. I actually expect RW to have decent year based on the above, but still dont see him in Dallas in 2011.
