That's our story for four years.

We're a good football team some weeks.

Other weeks....we're as average as it gets.

We just can't put together back to back weeks of great football.

I can't think of one game this year where we played well from beginning to end.

I have never been around a game that ended like that before in my life. I'm in total shock right now. The missed field goal. The run back. The face mask penalty. It's a complete and utter disaster. I just can't believe we lost that game.

I have watched this team come so close the last four years. I used to be one of those, "yeah, watch the Chicken Littles squirm" guys.

But I think it's clear.....when we're about to take the next step....I mean, get a win that begins to move us into the upper echelon of the league...something happens.

Whether it be an injury to a key player....a stupid INT.....a penalty at the wrong time....bad play....

I'm beginning to think JJ sold his soul to the devil for those 3 SBs....

I would be happy with just going to the playoffs with a QB that is so inexperienced. But with Romo at QB we threw away our playoff chances.

Dallas is just full of mentally unprepared and undisciplined talent. Roy dropped a pick and had a questionable Pi call that he should have been in better position for. Henry failed to make a play. TO dropped a game breaker, Glenn dropped some passes, Vanderjagt should not do kickoffs. Mental errors galore. the story of the 2006 Dallas Cowboys by NFL films. A midround pick migth be nice, perhaps a young stud of a wideout or tackle to replace Adams would be in order.

Uh, we're only one game back of the Falcons for a wildcard spot. You can't tell me there's a huge qualitative difference between us and them and us and the Vikings, and us and the 3 other teams that are 4-4: the Eagles, Rams, and Panthers. We're better than the Rams and Panthers for sure, and we can keep up with or surpass the Falcons, Eagles, and Vikes over these last 8 games, I'm sure of it. 8 games left and anything can happen. A ton of penalties, T.O. dropping some crucial balls, and a blocked FG cost us the game. I doubt all those things will all happen again to us in a game from here on in.

He drove us down the field for a TD on one drive.

Another drive should have been a TD but TO dropped it.

On another drive, a bad block by Gurode stalled us at midfield.

On the last drive, he put us in position for a gimme FG but we couldn't block for Vandy.

Romo was the best player on the field today for either team.
