You just described the only reason the Jerry would do this. It would keep the team and especially him in the limelight throughout the off season, keeping him relevant and entertaining.

I don't care about the way this current regime views "RKG" players. That's Bill's work and no way these guys look at RKG the same. If the guy is available, keeps his mouth shut to the media WRT the current issue being debated (hurting Mr. Martin's feelings) and wants to play here fine. If he beats out a current player on the roster for a spot, even better. At this point, I don't CARE anymore, I just want this team to win. Seems like a guy similar to Kevin Gogan to me.

I'm all for the notion of players not choir boys. The problem is his history, and whats happened in Miami, is a circus that doesn't need to be dealt with in Dallas. He would bring way to much 'me' attention to the enviroment, rather he wanted to or not, and that's simply not needed.

He would walk into Valley Ranch, answer questions from the press for about 10-15 minutes, then go about his business. The distractions would be over. He's not like T.O., who always had to have a camera to look into and smile.

I agree with those who say the team could use some nastiness. We have a bunch of finesse choir boys out there. That's the one thing I miss from Marc Columbo, and we would get it from Incognito.

He'd have to come in relatively cheap though.

Yeah, so the guy's a little crazy. I welcome it. I think the distraction angle is a little overblown. This team needs every decent OL they can find. The G spots are hanging by a thread with Leary's knee, Water's age and Bernadeau's lack of talent.

I just explained why it's an issue. Please read the complete post. It has nothing to do with the media's opinion. It all about the distraction that it would cause. When the player and coaches get beat down every day with questions about a controversial subject, it becomes a distraction.
