I really like this guy and he is a free agent after this year. He has played very well at times, is a team leader and has been in the league a few years. He has a decent arm and can scramble and is an excellant human being.

Who is he?

I was impressed with him against Dallas a couple of weeks ago. He has good size, a good arm and is tough. I don't know if he would be the man or not but I wouldn't mind having him on my team. At worst, he should be a good back up similiar to how Schaub is to Vick. I imagine however that he would want starting money but a contract could be constructed based upon whether he was a starter or not.

I like his attitude. He was clobbered in the Dallas game but never lost his cool or composure. With the right cast around him, he might develop into a good starting QB. I never saw him play in college so all I have to go on basically is the Dallas game.

You guys are wrong about Josh. He is only 26 with some good expierence. He will be a starter for some team.

Inconsistent? - Most 1-2 year players are and that is his playing expierence. He has also won some games in the 4th quarter. He was replaced last year and this year by Green after he WON games. He has been treated like crap by the Cardinals. He has a lot to prove and will imho.

The point is not to replace Bledsoe as much as it is having someone waiting in the wings when he's ready to leave, which won't be all that many years from now.

That being said, i'd rather take a shot in the balls than have McCown as my future QB.

I am not saying get McCown for Bledsoe. I like Bledsoe. McCown could start in 2007.

I like that McCown and his brother are both avowed Cowboys fans. They wear #12 in honor of Roger Stauabach.

I never say no to bringing in QBs to compete, but I really do believe Jerry and Bill when they say they are happy with the 2 backups.

Bledsoe's not going anywhere and he easily has another solid year in him. By then we'll know if Romo or Hensen is ready to step in in 07.
