Not sure if anyone said it about Gallup

He was running a crossing route and looking back at the quarterback. Because the quarterback can throw the ball on the crossing route pretty much at any time. While a receiver is looking back he's not going to be able to run full speed.
Maybe so....but his full speed is most WR's half speed.

Usually it’s not till 2nd season back for these acl injuries.
Ppl argued up n down Gallup was going to be ready early, and now we see he really isn't ready. Trashing him is shortsighted. How about they activate Washington or get that 3rd round pick ready to play.

That deep ball down the sideline it looked like Gallup had about a 6 inch vertical. Clearly not the same player. I think a healthy Gallup makes that play.
One issue that most fans overlook with players coming off injuries is that they have not been able to train properly while injured.

The injury itself might be 100% but without a full off-season of training, players often lose strength/explosiveness due to lack of training.

Gallup's cuts are not sharp. More of an issue in one direction than the other.

that’s pretty much common knowledge that once again escapes you.
You are the biggest homer troll on this site. There is no chance you are married still unless she is mentally challenged, it's dam near impossible. Only chance I give you is if you resemble the couple from the movie the campaign which is pretty close to how I envision you anyway.

If it’s psychological, he needs to sit out. I’m not even trying to be funny but the psychological aspect is still
part of the game. Same for Dak when he came back from his ankle injury and this hand injury. He’s clearly not psychologically ready to return to his “prime” (which isn’t really much of a prime but it was better than what he is today).
The only way to get past the psych part is to play.

I think it takes a year to fully recover from a knee injury. A lot of guys when they come back are less mobile.

Recovering from a serious knee injury is not the same for each player. When Gallup signed that big contract this off season, there is no question there was a lot of pressure for him to get back as soon as possible. Honestly, he may not have been fully recovered or may not yet have full confidence in his knee.

One reason I’ve been less enthused about signing OBJ now is we don’t know where exactly he is on his his recovery timeline. Even if he’s cleared to play, he blew his knee out 9 months ago which is sufficient time to be cleared to play again, but may not have been sufficient time for him to play at a level we’re used to with a guy like that. And…he’s 30.
