Same way man. I'm 25 years old and have seen this team win, what, 4 playoff games?

I was over it and watching Bob's Burgers within 30 minutes of the game's end. It's hard to be upset about failure when you're so used to it.
Do you watch Archer also? That's where Bob's Burgers came from.

Apathy. That is where I'm at. As I got older, I don't let sports with players who don't even know I exist, dictate my emotions. I watch for entertainment ans that's it.The wins don't get me that high and the losses don't get me that down.

More and more, I watch the NFL as a whole and enjoy all the talented players out there. And less only focus on Dallas. There's some beautiful ball being played all around the league.
I agree

I take sports team losses much better than I did as a young adult. Eventually you come to the realization there are much more important things to focus your energy on. Sports is entertainment and at the end of the day win or lose it doesn't change anything in your personal life.

I still enjoy watching the game, but not worth harping on a loss.
I'm still learning as a 30 year old haha.

I’m upset with myself thinking that, for just a few fleeting moments, this year might be different than the deeply ingrained mediocrity that the team has shown for the last 30 years. But nope, yesterday was a reminder that we are what we are, and we are not what the team was for the first 30 years of my fanhood when I expected us to at least make the conference championship game every year. My prediction before the season started was a 10-7 record and a first round playoff loss. That sounds about right to me now as well.

I thought it'd be different too. Unfortunately, this is all I know.

I really feel for you, Rusty. Back in the old days I lived and died with every play of every game because championships and Super Bowls were on the line. It’s pathetic to me that today’s generation of fans crow about 12 and 5 seasons. Like that really matters. I hope that someday you get to experience the joy of winning a Super Bowl. Believe me there’s nothing in all of sports that comes close to that joy.

Well, at least my favourite hockey team won the Stanley Cup, so I have that. But yes, I'm looking forward to us finally winning a SH.

Afan since 1963 but for some reason, I’m just not that upset. Don’t really know why.
Apathy man. I can't even muster the energy to give a damn. Far as I can see Jerry wants it this way. A middle of the road franchise that wins games is in the mix and that's about it. Beyond that whether they actually win another SB or not is not really a concern. And if the man who owns the franchise doesn't care I sure as hell am not.

I'm with you, it's game 3 we are 2 and 1 and most of our fans are about to jump off the bridge
It's because reality has set in. This is going to be another wasted season that will end with a disappointing ugly loss. Hope has been stripped watching Dak lead this team to FG after FG.

Great post.

I tell younger fans that the Cowboys of old were like the Patriots. They didn’t win as many SB’s but they were a juggernaut who won a lot of playoff games.

20 straight winning seasons under Landry.

Wonderful years.

Lol, you think you have seen failure? You should check out the other teams.
