Sure, I would have liked to win but at the end of the day us losing isn't the end of the world. Most of us non homers know that we would get steam rolled by the Packers or Saints if we made it to the playoffs, same will happen to the Giants. This isn't the Giants of 2007 either. We move up a few spots in the draft, get a little easier schedule next year while the Giants get a tougher one, and it's very clear who needs to be cut on our team. No more delaying the inevitable.

Some would say this team has the worst luck but the truth is, we have some TERRIBLE players mainly on defense.. they just shouldn't be out there in the first place. We also have some cancer type players that infect the locker room.. like Bennett. Jerry knew we had guys past their prime or who just couldn't cut it at the start of the season but he went the cheap route and didn't do anything in free agency. He did a similar move having buhler be our kick off specialist and place kicker.. even though he was a terrible kicker... just to save money. He refused to admit he was a bad kicker too. He is eccentric and always thinks he is right, the money he has makes him think he is a genius.

We have a ton to look forward to guys. A bunch of cuts of terrible players, Bruce Carter, Tyron Smith, Demarco Murray, Dan Bailey, Sean Lee, Robinson, and some new picks. We will get a stronger defense next year since it's such a glowing issue. This team is going to get a lot better. Hang in there and keep the pride strong for the star! :starspin

....and I saved about $600 on playoff tickets, hotel, and travel expenses.

Yep Jerry did go cheap and then was quoted tonight as saying he believed in his core guys right up until the middle of the 4th quarter.

For the life of me I don't know what he saw that convinced him we would somehow mentally change our stripes. It almost makes you wonder seriously about his mental state and if he's not slipping.

And my Kentucky Wildcats are going to win the NCAA Championship in April, so I've got that going for me.

Yes, this team has been in rebuilding mode this year and will be again in 2012 and probably for the following year as well. Another good draft or two and some more experience for the good players the team has picked up the last couple of years and this team could be looking pretty good soon.

Since I can't do anything about it anyway, I'm willing to wait. It was a crazy roller coaster ride this year but at least it was really interesting and not at all boring. I'm looking forward to an interesting off-season.

Now, the playoffs are upon us and I intend to enjoy them regardless of how they turn out, just like I did watching the Cowboys the last couple of years.

Life is good if you let it be.

It's kinda hard to be optimistic right now, but maybe in a couple of days I can be.
This is how I used to feel...but I guess I've developed thick skin over the years.

It didn't take me a couple of days to get over this loss; and I am confident this team will bounce back...next year.

All good points! Yes, I'm afraid that if the 'Boys did make it to the playoffs, they would've gotten their doors blown off like the Giants will in the next few weeks. Then, I'd be more upset with that (Like when they lost to the Vikings in '09).

Looking forward to OTAs, draft, training camp and doing this all over again.

They weren't even on the plane to head home yet and MartyB is already telling reporters that he's ready to be on the free agent market. And his brother is on Twitter complaining about the Cowboys again saying how he can't wait for his bro to leave this team because there's only one TE allowed in Dallas.

Completely Agree. If this is the worst thing that's happened to you, you've lived a pretty good life.
