Is anybody in the same camp with me. I'm not really worried about Romo. I think he will be coached up by Parcells to protect the football at all times. I think as long as he keeps his mistakes to a minimum, we'll be fine.

What Romo is going to really need is for our overrated defense to start playing up to their potential. We need the front 7 to get a little bit more pressure. We need our secondary to play to their potential. Most of all, the defense needs to take advantage of their opportunities. That means, if a ball comes right at you, catch the freaking ball. It's time out for the dropped INT's. The defense needs to get off the field when it's 3rd and 7. The defense canNOT give up big plays today! If our guys play to their potential and help us win the field position battle, we'll be fine. So my theory is, Romo should be fine, but it's up to the defense to win this on today.

I think our D will be fine. They'be been given the short field way too many times this season. [Bledsoe/Romo INTS!]

Other than the meltdown by Watkins, I've been a big fan of the D.

Overrated isn't a good word because the only people that think we have a good defense is on this board.

I think we have a good defense...that hasn't played to potential thus far this season. So Overrated is a good word because right now, they are.

Its hard for me to agree that are D is over rated. I don't think the D has been able to play up to their potential because the O has been a turn over machine in our 3 losses. When you are down on the scoreboard, your biggest responsibility on D is to NOT let them score.. thus you are less likely to take risk, like blitzes. Once this O starts to click, which it hasn't this year in big games, then the D can be more aggressive.

that being said, i agree that this is the week we have to be aggressive with the front 7, no CB is going to cover SS for more than 6 seconds, I don't care if who it is. We have to get pressure..

If Romo can get the O moving early, look for the D to play a solid game.

If T-New makes SS a nonfactor like he did last December, it would go a long way toward helping us win. Keyshawn makes nice first down catches, but he's not a factor without help. I agree that our D performance will determine the outcome of this game. Can we get a repeat performance from D-Ware?

And, oh yeah, JuJo needs an encore.

I question them because the number of opportunities we've blown to force turnovers. I swear if I see another ball hit Henry, Watkins, or James in the hands i'm going to lose it. As much as the offense has put the defense in a bad spot, the D has responded a good percentage of the time. However, there are too many opportunities that they have to get off the field on 3rd and long and they don't. I don't think they've ever proven that they can get a stop when we need one.

I wish they would get a little more pressure on the QB, but I think they are above average.

Take away the big play on the first drive last week and the points our offense scored for them and the defense would have had an OK game against a pretty good offense.

Philly got half of their points on our offense and so did the Giants.

That is a big hole
