Why am I not worried?
1) It's week freakin 2
2) We barely lost with 4 turnovers against a team that's supposed to be highly "disciplined" by their strict coach...with an amazing defense that we lit up. They're apparently supposed to win our division. I see no reason why we can't roll into NY and beat them.
3) Romo may have cost us opportunities tonight, but he's really the only reason that we are relevant in the first place. Anyone who remembers the Bledsoe/Testeverde/etc. days should be quick to appreciate that there would be no way we drive down to take the lead at 31-30 with almost any other QB. The run is not happening if the opponent doesn't have to respect your passing game. A lot of you may be calling for Romo's head, but I'm sure that the D coordinator for NY respected him dearly this entire night. There are at least 26 other teams who would take Romo over their starting QB without hesitation. The guy is pure lethal. Brady is an anomaly. It takes most QBs some time to come into their own. Romo has more than shown that he has the talent to be a top 3 in the league. Even after tonight, he's still top 5. QBs don't grow on trees.
4) Scandrick absolutely sucks. I actually am worried about that. Add in the great Ken Hamlin covering over the top at safety, and we have a great combo there. Hamlin is borderline ********. Scandrick at least tries...even though he can't really tackle or defend. The two combined make me sad. That is something I will admit to being worried about. Ty Law? Pacman? Trade back for Henry?
