Since folks are feeling bummed out, it's worth pointing out the good news about our schedule.
This was arguably our toughest road game on paper. Now that it's gone, we play 53.3% of our remaining games at home and our opponents' collective winning percentage from '05 is a mere 44.7%. That strongly contrasts with the notion that we've got a wicked tough schedule. Washington, yet to play, plays 50% home games and their opponents' winning percentage is 51.6%. NYG has 46.7% home games and their opponents were 52.1% (that's AFTER their toughest home game is over). Philadelphia has 53.3 % of their remaining games at home and their opponents' winning percentage is 54.6%. This is deceiving perhaps because they play 6 games against NFC East teams with winning records.
Our schedule from here out looks to be the easiest in the division.
