Traitor.I have Jordan Mason on one of my fantasy teams.
Let's just say, I'm definitely starting him.
I'm coming around to the idea, Mountain. We need a few more butt whippings.Everyone here should be hoping we get beat by 40.
That speaks to the kind of fan you are. You never pull for the team because you never show up after wins. You not only enjoy watching the team lose you enjoy watching them get destroyed.Everyone here should be hoping we get beat by 40.
I predict a 31 point loss but it will feel like 40, at least.Everyone here should be hoping we get beat by 40.
I would love to hear someone tell me how that is going to happen.Stopping the run. If Dallas can stop the SF run game, then we have a chance.
If the defense cannot shut down the SF run game, then nothing else matters. We will lose.
- Then the secondary play and pass rush matter
- Then our OL matters
- Then Dak and Lamb matter
- Then coaching matters
Read again. Since when did simply stopping the run require a monster game….thats just basic football, not something special. And there’s nothing in the post about not needing points, etc. You‘re just saying what you want to say when it has nothing to do with the original post. I said if we don’t stop the run game, what our offense does won’t matter. The TEAM will not win if SF is allowed to run the ball.Let me see if I get this right - the Dallas offense needs the defense to have a monster game for the offense to be successful. How is that? The offense still has to put points on the board no matter what the defense is doing. So what if the defense holds SF to 17, which would be a decent performance, but the offense sucks so bad they only score 10?
Agreed. If any team is allowed to run the ball consistently, you will lose because their passing game will be much better, they will score points, win time of possession, and demoralize your team. Your offense cannot score enough points to beat a team that you let run the ball on you.The defense has been so bad this season we’ve had issues stopping the run and the pass. Even our pass rush hasn’t been that good.
In the big scheme of things it would make absolutely no difference.Everyone here should be hoping we get beat by 40.
niners are 5th in rushing...we are average in stopping the run. playing on the road.....may not be a 200 yards rushing day for SF, but at least 150Stopping the run. If Dallas can stop the SF run game, then we have a chance.

They stopped the run only because they had 9 or 10 in the box and McCaffery was out, Deebo hurt.Stopping the run. If Dallas can stop the SF run game, then we have a chance.
