If Hannam is that good, then thats not something to be disappointed about. But from the sounds of it, they picked up Hannam just incase they didn't get the TE they wanted on draft day.

Its a solid draft, nothing to complain about IMO, but I have trouble equating it with the much more impactful draft of last year, assuming Burnett pans out.

It would've been really hard to. We had two 1st round picks last year, we got lucky with Canty, and like you said, we still don't even know how Burnett will turn out.

Solid, solid draft. I don't know that we got any steals big enough to push this grade to an "A" (Watkins may qualify as such), but I think this draft haul will help us immensely. Another terrific collection of players to add to the team.

I think your first reaction was right. Explain to me why we need to spend ANOTHER high pick for a tight end? You can't justify it.

Granted. And I think we may have gotten very lucky with Watson this year.

BUt the O-line holes are glaring, and whether by design or bad luck we couldn't address it, and a KR, developmental DE and a 2nd TE seem like luxery picks considering the O-line holes.

Again, not complaining, we held to true to our board IMO and its tough to go wrong that way, I just don't see this draft as a "wow, A grade" draft when matching players to needs.

I give it a solid B, possibly better if Hatcher pans out, but I see where others will rate it lower because of the lack of movement on the O-line.

This draft was a solid C on day 1. After the Green pick, it turned into a D-.

But with great value in Watkins, it moves back to a C.

I don't see any of these guys making a difference in getting us back into the playoffs.

Give it a rest already. This was a solid draft. Most everyone agrees. You are moving up your draft grade(D- to C) based on a FS drafted in the 5th round? LOL
