Nothing working in the right direction!

Everything today has not worked in the right direction. First Henson is gone and that's not all bad news but what did Dallas get in return? A 3rd round pick,time and cap space invested and a Porter rumor. There has to be more to it than that. Peterman gone another 3rd round screw up and a 4th for Shanel. Wow! The Browns wanting one of our centers, which brings me to the point. When are the Cowboys going to fix this weakist part of this team? I mean it's been a problem for some time now! If there is something to the Porter rumor than TO and Crayton are going to miss some time. No way Bill and Jerry works deals today that biring Porter to Dallas, just a pick for Shanel when we need players to play now and acutally the thought of a lineman leaving which would involve another 2nd round player either way. Please let this day end.

What is the rumor? Henson For Porter???

not understanding all the doom and gloom...
I'm not crazy about giving up Al Johnson but I think Cleveland is hung over a barrel and may be willing to give up a 2nd or a decent player, like an OL (if they have any).
I'm not sure about the Porter rumors but Oakland is hung over a barrel at QB IMO and they may be interested in Henson (whom I think may actually be as good as anything they currently have) and with an extra 4th round pick from Shanle...could be something. Also think about TOs injury and all the money we'd regain if we cut him before game 1 (not to mention all the problems he's already causing). With Porter, Glenn, and Crayton...really think we could do without TO frankly. (and it would be pretty ironic and funny IMO for us to effectively end TO's career and have the last laugh at the idiot who blasphemed the Star)
I'm merely saying that some things make some sense even though they may only be speculation and I would imagine the DC braintrust is probably at least discussing some options and possibilities.

I think the last thing we should do is cut T.O.
I do not care much for him but he is an unusual talent and Porter is not in the class (Talent wise) as T.O.
The rest of what you say makes good sense and I would love to get Porter for Henson and maybe a 4th
