Yes but good organizations also give a guy more than half a year to prove that. You don't want to be the Browns either. If they keep Mingo over Jalen Cropper I don't think anyone should cry over it.

Mingo was a stupid trade in a lost year, only to be doubled down on stupid by then trading a third for another WR. It’s like compound interest on wasting draft picks. Pickens makes sense. He’s a proven WR. Mingo isn’t. And this front office went further by then saying they brought him in because they had a second round grade on him. In the draft. 2 years ago.

This team doesn’t learn. If it was a 7th I wouldn’t care. A 4th for Mingo is dumb. There is not a person on this planet including Mingo who can convince me otherwise. There’s enough film on him to realize. He just isn’t good.

I’m not writing him off at all. But he ain’t a 3 down back. Which is what this coach apparently wants.
