1 Courtney Upshaw, DE/OLB, Alabama

1-2 Casey Hayward, CB, Vanderbilt – this kid will climb

2 Kevin Zeitler, G, Wisconsin

4 Scott Wedige, C, Northern Illinois

5 Jarius Wright WR Ark

6 Jake Stoneburner, TE, Ohio State

7 Carmen Messina, ILB, New Mexico

I think Jerry thinks we already have our center on our team

But say bye bye to Spencer and Bennett

And draft Newman's replacement

:bang2: i hope its not bad snap costa. We need a bonifide guy in the middle. Do costa even make the line calls. We need a center who can because we are relying on kosier alittle too much. If he goes down. Then what????

If we already have our center on this team then why doesn't Dallas start him because Costa sucks.

well I think Jerry or HH is looking at Arkin an Kowalski

I really like to fit Brewster in there some where

I think Wes Bunting said this about Brewster

Mike Brewster, C, Ohio State : Several NFL scouts feel Brewster is the third-rated center in the Big Ten behind Peter Konz of Wisconsin and Michigan's David Molk. Yet since stepping into the starting line-up as a freshman, Brewster has been nothing less than stellar on the field. Against Illinois he led an offensive line that helped propel the Buckeyes' running game to 211 yards, more than twice the average the Fighting Illini had been giving up this season (97 yards per game). Brewster is a smart, tough blocker who gets the most from his ability.

He's an underrated prospect who could be a surprise pick during the draft's second day next April

no way he lasts until the Walters mock has him going 42
I think that late for him

this is NFP take on him

A tall, flexible center who sits into his stance well, displays natural bend and creates pretty consistent leverage for someone his size. Snaps and steps quickly and does a great job in the pass game quickly getting his hands up, gains proper hand placement and is a real sticky player through contact. Is tough to disengage from because of his heavy hands and natural shuffle and slide ability through contact. Maintains his balances well, keeps his base/feet under him and holds up consistently one-on-one inside vs. the pass. Possesses good awareness and feel inside as well, keeps his head on a swivel, consistently picks up stunts cleanly inside and has the range to re-direct in space, maintain balance and stun a blitzing linebacker with a compact/strong punch.

Plays with natural leverage in the run game as well and once he gets his hands on defenders is tough to disengage from, as he can anchor/seal linemen consistently away from the football. Works his legs once engaged and has average natural power when trying to drive defenders off the football. At times takes poor angles when trying to create a snap off the line into contact and will allow interior defensive lineman to get up the field and create havoc behind him. Nevertheless, displays good short area quickness, has the fluidity/footwork to make up for a false step and push defenders past the play. Looks coordinated on the move. Isn't an elite athlete in space, but has some range to the second level, breaks down well and routinely can hold his own in space.

Impression: A seasoned starter who displays good size, hand placement and bend for the position. Looks like a year one starter to me in the NFL that you can win with

I want Jarius Wright too but I think he will be gone by the end of the 3rd round at the latest. Too much speed and KR/PR ability. I like him more than Joe Adams because I think he's faster. Marquis Maze and Travis Benjamin are some other burners I'd take too

better look at Demps and Rainey from Florida.

Yeah they've got elite speed but are more of the Reggie Bush/Dexter McCluster RB type than a WR. We need a WR with elite speed that can stretch the field as well as contribute in the return game

I think a lot of those WRs will drop since most of them in the Top-10 are the possession WR-type. I can already see Jeff Fuller sliding all the way down since he's had a horrible senior year. These burner WRs will have excellent combine/pro day workouts
