Defense can't stop anyone without Sean Lee.

Why can't this defense get INT's?

However, during the last 4 games combined:

Dak ranked #1 in completion percentage, #1 in fewest INT"s and #7 in overall passer rating. Keep in mind, 3 of 5 O-linemen have been backups for the most part.

Cowboy's ranked #1 in time of possession.

Cowboy's defense was not scored on in the 1st quaeter.

The defense also ranked #1 in fewest points in the 2nd quarter.

After all the halftime adjustments by their opponents, the Cowboy defense was ranked #2 in fewest points allowed in the 3rd quarter.

Sean Lee did not play a single snap. His replacement, LVE led the league in solo tackles.

Amari Coopet is ranked #8 in yardage, for WR's he is #2 in catch percentage.

Cowboys defense tied for #4 in INT's.

Only 2 undefeated teams over the past 4 weeks

As Parcells always said “you know who you are after Thanksgiving”

Dallas is a dark horse contender in the NFC. This team is built to run the ball and play championship caliber defense.

In other words— play playoff football. No one wants to see us in January/February lol...

Starts tomorrow. Can they step up and take the division away from the SB champs? Do THAT— and we can legitimately start talking about how far can they go in the playoffs.

Great time to be a fan— lots of youth and promise on this team. Can they change the narrative that they can’t win when it matters most?
 
I see a lot of fans mad because our QB doesn't throw for 300/3 every game, but we seem to be winning with decent QB play, good running game, and great defense.

Running the football and playing great defense is a pretty nice way to win games in the cold months of December and January.
 
Great November, now repeat that in December.
Win the last 4. No, make that the last 7 overall.
 
Nice turn around, even for fans like me who believed in the hype of mediocrity. THis is a time to believe in the ride, regardless of the years gone by. Lets root and come together, believe in football, not stats and remember WHY we are fans.

When the ball is kicked, the talk is over, the field will judge and we ll have our answers afterwards. Until than, im rooting for the Boys.

I posted some stats quite a while ago.
With quite a few QB's, including Brady and Rodgers.

I should have kept them written down.
However without looking it all up again. Aikman averaged 199.6 yards per game.
Montana a whopping 212 YPG

But that was countered with..it was a different game, they wanted to use today's passing game as a comparison. Which is total BS. Football is football.
Give me the running game, not all passing. Fantasy football has skewed many fans perspectives.

The running game and defense travels anywhere. So yes, that is important as you said, in Dec. and Jan.
 
I agree yardage is skewed but today’s game requires more points. Would like to see Dak average at least 2 TDs per game. He’s at 14 through 12 games.

Ball control is great but you need to be able to put the ball in the end zone.

Agreed. Other teams are watching us and hoping we drop a few and miss the playoffs. This team can beat anyone.

The media is all saying we can’t beat the saints at there house. It didn’t matter where we played them. We shut them down. When our Defense is aggressive we take teams out. Our Offense is coming along and getting better. Dak is getting some of that confidence back. We get hot going forward and it’s on in the playoffs.
 
I know pre-cooper, I wasn't sure that they could win another game so to put them in the same sentence as the Vikings, Bears and others was ludicrous....now, I don't think those teams are in the zone of the Cowboys....so, prove me right Dallas, stay a top 3 or 4 team in the NFC by beating the eagles and ending their season
 
For games #1 to #8 combined, the Cowboys were ranked #29 in 3rd down conversion with 33%.

For games #9 to #12 they are ranked #2 with 49%.
