a team on the road with a winning record which was against the skins in 2008 and the Giants in 2007. In all honesty this team does not perform well on the road against teams with winning records which is why I had to do some research to see the last time they won on the road. We were close in Pittsburghlast year but we all know how that ended. So seeing them lose tomorrow won't be a surprise at all. Hopefully i'm wrong

I don't get it? November of last year is supposed to be a long time? Really, Tampa was 9-7 and we played them in weak one this year, does that count? If not, they've only played 4 games on the road against teams that finished with a winning record last year, and only 2 since November.

GB was undefeated when we went on the road to beat them last year as well. Denver will not finish the year with a winning record, so it's a moot point in regards to this weekend's game.

This is a useless "stat" and doesn't indicate a trend in the least.

actually we can just skip the skins game because they were not a good team and in collaspe mode. Just November of 2007 is the real date. And please I don;t want to hear anything about Tampa because we both know they stink

With our annual collaspe come Nov-Dec, we really need to stockpile some wins early this year.

Not a good sign to drop to 2-2 after 25% of the season has been played considering we always tank at the end of the year.

Wasn't there a thread here in late August that was a poll asking whether you'd like to have a bad September/October to switch with a strong December/January?

Still, 3-1 after this afternoon is fine by me.

Dont get me wrong my friend, I would take a bad start to the year if it meant a strong finsih.

However, I am worried that a bad start might be coupled with bad finish. Our schedule is tough this year with 3 of our last 5 being on the road. I guess I just dont have alot of confidence in StayPuff to finish strong.

No.

You don't get to "just skip" games.

2008

We beat the Skins who were 6-3 last November in Washington.

We beat the Packers in Green Bay when they were 2-0

2007

I guess the game you're talking about was when we beat the Giants 31-20.

Since that time, here are the teams with winning records who we played on the road.

Washington
Green Bay - Win
Arizona
Giants
Washington - Win
Pittsburgh
Philadelphia

Your "stat" means nothing. It's not easy to beat winning teams on the road.

Best. Thread. Ever.

These stats that you incredible ESPN reporters come up with are always worth my time. They're insightful, witty, interesting, and ALWAYS relevant.

Oh, wait.. you don't work for ESPN? You should see if they're taking applications. Your meaningless, pointless, twisted stat would fit you in wonderfully.

Romo has not beaten a Eagles Team in Philly when they had a winning record. When they beat the Eagles they were 3-4.

2006-Romo not the starter
2007-didn't count
2008-Loss

So you're saying Romo is 1-1 in Philly as a starter? OMG! He's so terrible. Cut him now!

What's your point?

No I'm saying he plays his worst football on the road against winning teams. And I mentioned the Philly stat because someone pointed out the Cowboys won in Philly and I said it didn't count because the Eagles were 3-4 at the time.

I bet that's true of every single solitary quarterback in the history of the game.

He's now something like 15-6 on the road as a starter. There are some legitimate criticisms of our QB, but this isn't one of em.

Here is a legitimate criticism of Romo, "He has a Interception problem"

What does this have to do with your thread? Do you generally have problems staying focused?

what does it have to do with the thread? Did he not throw a INT today on the road that played a role in them losing today???????

Did I stutter? I told you that there were some legitimate criticisms of Romo. But the one you started with in this thread, that he "plays his worst on the road against winning teams" isn't a legitimate criticism.
