Video: Now For Something Different - Emmitt's Shoulder

I've seen it before and it's awesome. Where have all the real Cowboys gone? Still my favorite player to ever play the game. Heart, determination, toughness, skill, and the best vision I've ever seen from a RB. He's the most rounded back to ever play in my opinion. I know people like to talk about how good Zeke is without the ball in his hands, but Emmitt was way better.

Emmitt is my all time favorite player as well.
Though I loved when they drafted Zeke, as I am an OSU fan, but he has a long way to go in his career.
I followed Emmitt's career when I lived in Florida, from high school on through college. I went crazy when they drafted him, much the same for Zeke.

Not me, now I may need to pull this game out as I have it on VHS. I plan to convert it to digital though. Off season, now will be the time.
Unless it is on you tube, I can just download it.
Yeah got a lot of the games from those years on VHS - prob turned to dust by now in the garage ; )

And yes there is a lot of stuff on Youtube nowadays.

Lol. And to think Zoners were complaining about Romo threads saying "he doesn't even play anymore" to NFL Films featuring Emmitt's shoulder. :lmao:

That giants game man. Unreal. And I still get chills when I watch the play he scored and ripped his helmet off. Of course they changed the rules shortly after but the passion.
It was surreal. The Giants played a pretty damn good game. Crowd was stunned after the OT loss. One of the all time great franchise wins for the Cowboys.

I have just about all the their wins from the 90’s. I think the only loss I kept was when Emmitt broke the rushing record when they lost to Seattle. But that was what, 2003.

I also put together a video, which I did convert, of all the highlights for the 92 season. All from ESPN. And CNN sports when they used to have a sports show, as well inside the NFL from HBO, it is over 2 hours. Then of course all the payoffs and SB stuff also.

I've always thought that Emmitt never got enough credit in NFL lore for this effort but maybe if it happened in the playoffs or Super Bowl it would have.

Saw it over and over - and always confirms Emmitt. was definitely one of the most toughest, gutsy iron man players ever to play the game.
Despite incredible anguish and agony, he simply carry the team on his back ( not NFL highest paid QB Aikman) to victory in that critical OT Giants game - with a very painful separated shoulder.

..when Emmitt held out to be the NFL highest paid RB, (and rightfully so) .. the team started the season 0-2, the sheer panic went out to Jerry
as the vibes among organization was .. " We Need Emmitt - we can't without Emmitt " . ... and immediately Jerry finally bit the bullet and re-signed Emmitt over night to his rightfully so
highest paid back status.

That win was for the division and the #1 seed in the NFC. Biggest regular season win in the "Triplets" era. I remember my Stepfather, a skins fan, saying after that game "That was really stupid the way they let Smith play hurt". It was at that moment I realized he knew nothing about football and was blinded by Cowboys hate.
