Crew calls nothing in the first quarter, 3 calls at halftime and about 30 minutes of face time in second half.

And Chicago can thank them for their little comeback too...the blatant OPI on Jefferies' TD, the BS hold on Scandrick and the roughing call on Crawford were brutal.

Was the roughing call not roughing? I don't remember them replaying it.

The rules are vague so that refs have some say so in the competitive balance during the course of any given game. Yes, I do think they exercise some liberties if the games are getting out of hand.

You couldn't hear all Hochuli was saying when he was announcing the penalty on Crawford for roughing. But it appears he said Crawford hit him with the crown of his helmet, which would be a penalty, even if he wasn't there late.

I will say they missed on the OPI completemy. He darn near tore the jersey off.
They did not replay the hit by Crawford. It could not have been bad as Cutler was up past them to the next play right away.

It felt like they were waiting to make a call on the defense all night. On the Scandrick throw it appears the WR just ran Church right over after 5 yards as well. I know the CB can't go through the Wr but since when can the WR run through the CB? I was for sure thinking they were going to call Defensive holding on Church. That defensive holding call on Hitch was BS as well. Since when can you grab a guy around the neck in the air to prevent an INT?

Hochuli whistles when he pronounces the letter "s"

That pisses me right off.

Not to mention the bogus hold on Hitchens on the failed 2 point attempt by the Bears. That bad call almost made us really sweat it out if they score the TD instead of the Scandrick INT. Hochuli tried to keep the Bears in it and almost got them the win.

Nailed it. Crawford led with the crown of his helmet which is why it was roughing the passer. I think it's a pretty lame rule but it's a rule.

Can't hit the QB too high! Can't hit him too low! If you're taller than him and you have to duck your head down to hit his middle that could be a penalty if it looks like you're leading with your helmet.

I thought he hit him with this arms, but I didn't see it that clearly

They picked up a buttload of flags too. Seems like the officials were getting ticky-tack and had to have the rules explained by Hochuli in the middle of the game.
