I'm a bit pissed right now because my 5 year old son is getting bullied by a group of Commanders, Eagles, and Giants fans in kindergarten (because he sometimes wears a Cowboys jersey). I figured the best way to handle it is to tell him he doesn't have to wear the jersey to school - so kids won't have a reason to mess with him; however, when I was a kid my dad probably would've told me to punch them in the face. I don't really know because I don't ever recall having this problem in school. I don't want him getting kicked out of school for fighting, so I guess the best solution is my solution.

Never the less, I'm really pissed that people teach their 5 year old kids to hate the Cowboys - so now is the time to be the team that we were assembled to be. No more dumb mistakes and beating ourselves. It's time for Zeke to bust some huge runs and take over the league in rushing again. It's time for Dak to prove that he's worth 30+ million a year and he is the guy that can win big games like he's done in the past. It's time for Amari to stop dropping balls and start dropping those insane video game like stats that he occasional does & show that he might just be one of the best WRs in the game. It's time for the defense to continue to play like they've been playing against our last 2 opponents (which happen to also be divisional rivals). I believe they've created 7 turnovers and only given up 28 points in the last 2 games & they've also put some insane pressure on Wentz & Danny pennies, and they've stepped up their sack total significantly compared to the first few weeks (including 2 strip/sack fumbles that turned into touchdowns; on both occasions). The defense has also been phenomental against the run - I think they held Philly to 50 rushing yards and Saquan to 28 rushing yards (2 yards per carry). They also held Wentz to 7.3 yards per completion & Danny pennies to 5.1 yards per completion.

The Cowboys outscored the two rivals by a combined 74-28... even though they played a pretty sloppy and penalty laden game against the Giants (10 penalties for 104 yards). The Giants also had several massive kick returns and great field position throughout the game (in fact they were in our Redzone 5 times and only scored 18 points). The Cowboys also left 7 points on the field (Cobb TD was called back b/c of a questionable holding call & Maher had a rare miss on one of his patented long distance 54 yard FGs). The Cowboys also have the worst starting field position in the league this season - so hopefully we can just attribute that to bad luck and improve on that drastically in the 2nd half of the season.

This team has a really tough schedule & none of these teams are going to be laydowns, but I just hope we can play to our potential, stay healthy, and get in the playoffs & be that team that gets hot in the playoffs.

Go Cowboys!

Honestly you are in trouble if you come to the cowboys zone for parenting advice.

well, he also thinks Jerry is a good GM and Garrett is a good HC, so he ain’t the sharpest tool in the shed

Just for wearing a Cowboys Jersey?..............geez you'd think we was wearing a red hat or something

Take matters into your own hands and batter the dads in front of those kids to teach them a valuable lesson....

I teach my 5 and 3 year old to say go cowboys and boo “ insert any other nfl team”

the way they act respectful around other children is a factor of how my wife and I are raising them, which i am sure is consistent with yours...just keep fighting the good fight

Yup. This place is mostly a bunch of Cowboys fans arguing with each other on almost every topic. It's like we're each others enemies on this site instead of brothers in arms supporting our favorite team. Not a good place for advice on how to handle a 5 year old getting bullied because of the Cowboys. Some of these guys would probably hate on the kid for supporting the team too.

Teach your child about loyalty and supporting the home town team. Tell him the Cowboys represent the City of Dallas and in large part the entire State of Texas.

Tell him he's always going to encounter these bandwagon fans that have no loyalty to their local team and those are the kind of people that have loyalty to nothing. If they are disloyal to their city and state , they can't be counted on to be loyal to their country either. Tell him to tell those other kids they aren't real Americans.

Unless of course you don't live in Texas . If that's the case, apologize to your child for raising him a Cowboys fan, teach him to run away fast and to serpentine when projectiles are involved .

"sticks and stones". Everyone has to learn to deal with teasing. Now, the little *******s lay their hands on your son, then it's "go" time. Tell your son don't EVER let someone put hands on him.

I taught my kids to punch bullies in the face. But that's just me.

I was suspended for standing up to a bully and my dad was proud because that's what he taught me.
same

i was bullied for being a white kid in a predominantly hispanic school. it didn't stop until started defending myself.

craziest thing, once they knew they shouldn't mess with me I guess I kind of earned their respect and actually befriended a few of them. To this day one of my best friends was one of the bullies..

Unfortunately, it will take a miracle with Garrett at the helms. Nothing's going to change or be any different this season either.
