was looking at my fantasy team which includes dez. On his description and outlook it had ed werder reporting that he's closer to 6 weeks rather than the 10-12. Anyone here anything?

I would laugh so hard at these so called experts that have him gone for up to 12 weeks.

Isnt it that Ian Rappaport that also said Drew Brees has a torn rotator cuff and will miss extended time meanwhile Brees and Payton are saying its not true and he is day to day?

If so he needs to find new sources.

Ok question he missed the Egirls game he is going to miss the falcons game and their is a bye in a couple weeks so does that mean he is as of right now going to be out 3 more games

What does your fantasy team have to do with how long he will out?
Lol.

I am concerned on when he returns and helps us win games....not fantasy points....lol....

D Lawrence had the same and was back to practice by week 6 however because he was on IR was unable to return. Dallas as we know did not put Dez on IR so I think there is a chance based on teammates same injury that Dez could return before some have claimed. Main thing though is getting him back healthy

I dont see why you would rush him back before Romo returns.

How many times are people gonna say this?

The Cowboys are NOT gonna rush him back before he's ready. They've been openly blunt about this. You don't rush a guy back with that kind of injury and they won't either. Dez will return when he's ready whether that's four weeks from now. Six weeks, eight weeks, or twelve.

All these types of injuries are on an individual basis. He'll be week to week then day to day. The treatment he had should shorten normal recovery time by 2-3 weeks. Hence the 7-8 weeks figure.

That's because Broaddus said 6 weeks yesterday on The Break.

They likely good of him returning after 6 weeks is very low, i would certainly place money to it being more

I wouldn't look forward his return until December. Even then I doubt he would be much help. He would be out of football shape and rusty. I doubt he can really contribute this season.

Well, he had the surgery on the 14th or 15th of Sept. So, it is one week already and, hopefully, he will be back in 3-5 more weeks. That is, if the 4-6 week initial time frame was accurate, or things have changed since then and new information is available, or the team was blowing smoke. We will just have to wait and see. That is about all any of us know.

One more thing we do know is that Dez is itching to get back and will play as soon as the doctors clear him.

I just hope its not to late when he gets back if we go in a tail spin I wouldn't hurry him or Romo back either.
