Personally, I've been lucky enough to witness GREAT Cowboy teams that have had HEART, GUTS and pride in their play to go all the way to SB winning seasons and this is something that this present Cowboy team will never accomplish.....NEVER! The so-called ballers on this team go missing in every meaningful game! Players are so dam selfish with the insane penalties that they commit EVERY GAME! This is a BAD team that needs to be dismantled from the top down! The 9er game and the butt whipp'in that was they gave the Boys for the WHOLE WORLD to watch is the straw that broke the camel's back. One more thing, does anyone really think that the COWBOY brain trust and coaching staff can make Trey Lance a viable option at QB in the NFL if the 9er coaching staff couldn't and gave up on him......think about that one after last night's butt whipp'in.........LOL!

It boils down to what each of us feels is our own personal opinion of what is the greater good for the team moving forward.
I agree with you primarily based on your reasoning of Daks inability to win 3-4 consecutive playoff games.
I would entertain any and all options to moving on from the current albatross QB contract that is Dak Prescott.
To include tanking.

I will never understand the mentality of sticking with coaches like Garrett or QBs like Dak for 10 and 8 years respectively.

While knowing full well that their performance ceiling are not championship level regardless of the supporting roster.

Seems like historically when this team has bottomed out, tanked whatever you wanna call it, that there has been a substantial net gain in terms of team big picture improvement, vice just standing pat.

Just my opinion though.

Your opinion lol. Well you are stating your opinion as facts for what I said. Where did I say I like sticking with Garrett or Dak? Oh that's right, NOWHERE. My point is while there are still 12 games left where a lot of things can happen, I'm not about to sit up here and quit on this season because of what happened last night and tank. That is absolute loser mentality. So while you don't want Garrett's and Dak's of the world, your mentality fits right in and is no better than with the mentality of 'sticking with coaches like Garrett or Qbs like Dak' by tanking.
