Mini-Garrett has been getting interviews regulary and he is high on not just the Chargers list, but Tampa Bay as well. BTW, the Chargers and Dallas run joint practice together, so I’m pretty sure they see what “Dak fanboys” claim to see, but are obviously blind to QB play.

Garrett could only get a job because his daddy was close to the Mara’s, like he was to Jerry, and even Mara couldn’t save him in NY. Moore on the other hand is getting looks on the strength of his own merit and has shown ability in less time than Garrett showed in close to a decade.

Id love him or Greg Roman, but I think we are going to get Schottenheimer, but that's ok. I think he'd also be a very good OC for us, and he's familiar with the WCO.
Schottenheimer is Air Coryell, and he’s awful. And if this is the case, it’s most likely MM had him already as a replacement for Moore who was obviously going to bounce soon anyways as he was getting interviews regularly after each season, because MM brought him in last year.

Won't happen, but I while I like Kingsbury as a OC and wish Dallas would at least interview him, I really wish JJ would try and make a big splash with a Kurt Warner.

Since it is going to be MM calling the plays anyway, I think the way Warner is with tape, and his knowledge of how to scheme guys open would be awesome. I know Martz system wasn't exactly a WCO, but it was a variant of it.

On a side note, this ability to read and decipher tape is the reason I think I would like them talking with Sean Lee as a LB coach as well.
You know this would not be a bad Idea for QB coach and passing game Coordinator. what is Bill Callahan doing, have him be Running Game Coordinator / OLINE coach + Warner as QB Coach / Passing Game Coordinator. that would be a dangerous combo.

BC will never come back to work for Jerry after what happened here. Just notch another burnt bridge for Jerry as a result of his love of Jason Garrett.

And the Browns just signed him to a contract extension and guy is one of, if not, the most highly sought after OL coach in the league, getting to choose where he wants to go after his contract is over. Teams were supposedly trying to lure him away from the Browns.

Brian Johnson the Eagles QB coach would get strong consideration from me and make a lot of sense. He's a Texas native who's dad played for UTEP and his folks still live in Baytown. He comes from a pretty good coaching tree having played under Urban Meyer then Kyle Whittingham at Utah. He went undrafted and spent rookie mini-camp with the Packers and our own Fat Mike in 2009, but didn't make the team. Since then he went back to Utah as the QB coach and later offensive coordinator under Whittingham, was the QB coach at Mississippi State for Dan Mullen where he coached Rayne Dakota Prescott, spent a year as the offensive coordinator for Tom Herman in Houston, then reunited with Mullen as the QB coach in Florida.

I like his resume leading up to the Philadelphia job. I like what he's done with Jalen Hurts career in Philadelphia even more. I like that he could be named the offensive coordinator/Quarterbacks coach but not be completely thrown into the fire with Fat Mike calling plays and also commanding a large portion of the offense. I like that it would strike a blow to the Eagles franchise. I like that he's young 36 with fresh ideas and a different formula.

He's a hot name right now and has already interviewed with the Jets and Rams for their coordinator jobs. Philly playing in the Super Bowl probably buys the Jones boys a little time to try to get him into Dallas. While this all sound very un Jones like, I know for a fact they were very interested in Dan Mullen (especially Stephen) before hiring the Fat one and Johnson is an Mullen disciple.

You’ll get your wish likely. Not that it will matter. You’ll see a lot of the same things you saw this year. Just different emphasis during the game with McCarthy
You mean I am going to see CURLS, curls, Curls, for half a game?

It doesn't matter who the OC is. This team will never do anything except win the occasional playoff game.

I like this Idea as well. Dont know much about Johnson but he would bring some more RPO College offense to the WCO MM would bring. marrying those 2 could be a good combo. Good Idea. like it.

I think they know we need weapons but will still be unwilling to bring in much help via free agency

Honestly, that is a problem. The thing that I don't understand is, rather than spending on players that likely wouldn't start anywhere, why not pick one or two FAs that would be huge upgrades, and put a lot of the cap space there every year instead of signing 6-8 scrubs that are either injured or likely not going to see much action? I think that'd be a better use of cap space. Then, fill the rest with draft picks.

Part of it is they get to licking their guys then dont want to look at anyone else. For example: CD is good but not elite. So bet they will pay him elite money to kerp him and wont use another high pick on a wr to develop. But continuing to draft wr's is exactly what they should do bexause theu are so exp. Like drafting RB's cause they dont normally last long is smart. Thank goodness they do this with DE's.

A little the same, from a Offensive scheme stand point.
Not even close, Garrett is a run first guy. Norv Turner, Garrett is so much run that he will run even when he knows it's not working hence the reason why fans started wanting him out, and wanting a pass first mentality, so we got that and for 4yrs it got us no where with Moore calling the plays.
