What will we get along the lines of compensatory picks? Also do we get them next draft and if so what should we be looking at this draft for last years FA?

Compensatory picks can't be traded but we already have 9 or so and every year we do quite a bit of trading on draft day.

Next draft and we might get extra 4th for canty.. And we hardly do trading in the draft unless we trade down.

So for 2009 draft, we are most likely going to get a 5th and a 6th for losing Jacqas Reeves and Julius Jones last year. So add these 2 picks to our 9 we already have and that leaves us with 11 picks in the 09 draft.

Now for 2010 draft, it is my understanding that we will recive a compensatory pick for Canty now that Keith Davis signed with KC, probably a 4th.

I didn't say we do alot of 1st and 2nd round trading. The draft is 7 rounds now a days right?

If you read the link provided, we don't even know for sure which ones we get this year, although I would not doubt it if Adam has it projected correctly. What's more important to note is that some players might not qualify and that contract, playing time and postseason honors are formulated in. Since 2009 hasn't taken place yet and we still have free agents/don't have exact contract figures yet, etc. it would be hard to project. Adam may have a pretty clear idea however, so surf his posts and you might find something.

I sometimes think people actually make themselves feel better when they try and make other people look incompetent. I asked 3 questions 1 of which was partially answered by another thread and I get flack from a guy cause I wasted 10 seconds of his life......

Hey I know I'll go stand out by the stop sign at the end of the street and wait for someone to miss it. Then when they get in a wreck or get a ticket I'll run up to their car and shrug my shoulders and simply ask "seriously, did you not see the stop sign"
