Now that she's back

Now that she's back, what type of impact do you think that she'll make?

I think the T.O. "injury", if we're calling it that, is somewhat of a "blessing" in disguise.

Maybe it's a good way to work Glenn into the picture. I'm looking forward to it.

Thoughts?

I got to actually see him play before I can say how much of a difference he will make.

Parcells held the leash on our offense and Glenn was still explosive.

So if he can come in and do some of the things he did for us last year then we are going to be that much more dangerous.

That's before he had two serious knee surgeries and had to let his atrophied muscles in his leg get stronger.

Glenn will make an impact in the playoffs, make no doubt about it, but he is going to be our third receiver, and will not be a focal point of our offense.

He is going to be used to stretch the field, be it as a decoy or a weapon, and the main perk of him being back is it will force defenses to account for another weapon and open up things more for T.O. and Witten. I'm glad to have him back even if it means one or two deep balls a game...that's enough to keep defenses honest. And with our productivity, anything we can get from him is a bonus.

But I dont see him being the player he was. I just dont see it.

:D I think Glenn can make a big impact. The way he can keep his toes in bounds when he catches something by the sidelines, only Randy Moss can do it better. :D

Moss learned from the best of all time at the toe drag. Cris Carter.

I understand you dont want to get your hopes up, but quit acting like you know how Glenn will produce. No one knows whether he'll catch one ball Sunday and get injured being hit and done for the rest of the season and possibly his career, or whether he'll have multiple 100 yard/TD games in the playoffs.

Notice how at the end of my post I said "I just dont see it" Where do I say I know how he will produce?

And the talk about him being the 3rd WR and the deep threat, how can anyone think differently? Yeah a guy coming off of two major knee surgeries who hasnt played all year is going to start and play 50 snaps a game. Makes sense to me.

If you are not calling it an injury, what are you calling it? It's a high ankle sprain. That is an injury no matter how you spin it.

Also, no injury is a "blessing" in disguise. There is no such thing.

I hope Glenn can contribute something to what is shaping up to be a special season. With what he's done for us the last four years, he deserves to be a part of this wonderful ride.

It would be nice to somehow leave Fedex with a victory on Sunday. Momentum is a beautiful thing.

I think the '99 Rams would disagree with you. As would the '01 Patriots.

Injuries CAN be a blessing in disguise. I just dont see that being the case for us. We'll see...

Glenn is going to be detrimental to us if he's not 100% IMO. If he does not have his speed and quickness, that make him nearly uncoverable man-to-man, he isn't going to be an upgrade over Crayton.

I'm calling it T.O. can play injured. He played with a broken leg. If it were any other player there wouldn't be quotation marks around that term. But the usage of the term still has its own meaning, of course.

I don't think I'm the only one who witnessed his superior athletic ability when he came back to play after only 6 weeks of recovery from a broken leg.

The "blessing" part would be, Glenn plays... and T.O. doesn't, which would theoretically, according to my opinion, be a "blessing" because Glenn gets the needed reps to play in this offense, and T.O. has a reason to sit out, get well, and not have a reason to be the focal point.

With the Jessica thing, amongst T.O.'s history of being problematic regarding his statements, I think it's best the media doesn't have any chances to give him (T.O.) any questions that could be misconstrued as something else. We all know how the media is, and I guess I try to look for the positives--sometimes. After all, we are going to the playoffs with a bye.

Something just tells me that everything is going to be OK. And when we're finished with the season, she will have played a good part in securing the Bowl victory.

New England is in our sights. And any other team who has tried to scheme against us won't have had the opportunity to have seen this year's offense with T.O. and Glenn at the same time until the post season.

And that puts people like, Bellecheat, at a disadvantage.

How sweet would it be for Terry Glenn to be the difference maker in AZ v New England?

I think T.O. will be fine--and we'll be a better team with Glenn in the mix, for this year. And I think there has been a rhyme and a reason as to why he's remained on our roster, but hasn't suited up--yet.

I laughed when I read the "make no doubt" part, too. As if we haven't seen Glenn "doubted before. It's quite comical given what I've previously read from this poster.

Personally, I think NGB could possibly be a disgruntled Skins fan or something.

Personally, I think you're a ***, and you're going on my ignore list.

And you may want to read more than one of my posts if you think I'm a Skins fan. My god man, how stupid can you be?
