If you are not calling it an injury, what are you calling it? It's a high ankle sprain. That is an injury no matter how you spin it.
Also, no injury is a "blessing" in disguise. There is no such thing.
I'm calling it T.O. can play injured. He played with a broken leg. If it were any other player there wouldn't be quotation marks around that term. But the usage of the term still has its own meaning, of course.
I don't think I'm the only one who witnessed his superior athletic ability when he came back to play after only 6 weeks of recovery from a broken leg.
The "blessing" part would be, Glenn plays... and T.O. doesn't, which would theoretically, according to my opinion, be a "blessing" because Glenn gets the needed reps to play in this offense, and T.O. has a reason to sit out, get well, and not have a reason to be the focal point.
With the Jessica thing, amongst T.O.'s history of being problematic regarding his statements, I think it's best the media doesn't have any chances to give him (T.O.) any questions that could be misconstrued as something else. We all know how the media is, and I guess I try to look for the positives--sometimes. After all, we are going to the playoffs with a bye.
Something just tells me that everything is going to be OK. And when we're finished with the season, she will have played a good part in securing the Bowl victory.
New England is in our sights. And any other team who has tried to scheme against us won't have had the opportunity to have seen this year's offense with T.O. and Glenn at the same time until the post season.
And that puts people like, Bellecheat, at a disadvantage.
How sweet would it be for Terry Glenn to be the difference maker in AZ v New England?
I think T.O. will be fine--and we'll be a better team with Glenn in the mix, for this year. And I think there has been a rhyme and a reason as to why he's remained on our roster, but hasn't suited up--yet.
