What schemes were those? The guy thought run-blocking was having the offensive line be like a wall... the point he forgot is that the RB has to run through holes that the OL is suppose to create...

Maybe lack of scheme then.

You might look at my posting history and think I'm going to argue with you...

...I'm not. IMO you described it to a T.

What about calling and seeing if we can get the Denver O line coach? They seem to always have good running backs no matter who they are. The o line has to have a lot to do with that.

We would have to totally revamp the O-line then, Denver and Atlanta use much Smaller and Quicker lineman that Chop block.

I know.

I have no complaints about the pass blocking schemes he employed, just the run blocking.

Denver always had good run blocking schemes, but they use smaller, quicker OL. Leonard Davis hasn't been small since pre-K.
That and Denver chop blocks, frankly I think it's dirty and I'd rather not employ that technique here.
Houck or Solari will do just fine.

Is it possible to get Solari?

first time, ever, i agree with you.

Solari was white hot a few years ago -- so much so that the Chiefs let Saunders go and promoted Solari. Turns out Solari isn't so great an OC but he was a hell of an OL coach.

I read something about Solari being in Marty's pen if he comes back and coaches this year. Seems to be a great choice to replace Sporano though.

You mean the holes that Julius was trying to run through when he was busy running into the backs of the OL, praying they would actually open?

Not to get off the subject or anything, just saying...
