- Another WR - yes another -Crayton Glenn and To is not enough -we need to draft a good young WR.

- A Kicker

- A Blocking TE

- A FB

- Another OL if LA is cut

- And another LB

-And most importantly - a Cover Safety

The terms of Owens contract may well determine how well Jones can fill that grocery list. The signing itself probably (and significantly) delayed our acquiring players free agency thus far.

Here's to hoping for a very fruitful draft next month. :)

We've got Vanderjak (sp?) coming in on Monday.

We've got Hennam in today for TE.

I thought Sowell was supposed to visit soon too.

We've got 1 LB coming in (Boiman?), though I think he's more for Depth/Special Teams.

As for OL, we were interested in Neal, but I don't know what's happened since. And then, of course, there are the Fabini rumors circulating.

We're well on our way . . . .

All sounds good to me...

Has TO signed on the dotted line? NO!

I am not in denial I know the probability is that he will be here but until he signs I will hold out hope (however small) that he will not or that Jerry will come to his senses and not offer him a contract. Hopefully we will re-sign Keyshawn instead and/or make a deal for Walker.

The rest of your list I agree with.

Now Will you please quit trying to shove Terrell Freakin' Owens down our throats!!

It's done - get over it.
And how the hell am I shoving him down your throat?? I made a post about moving "forward"

One guy I'm looking at in the draft is Brandon Williams.

Can be had in the later rounds, quick, good hands, returner.

I agree on all counts except that we need another O-lineman whether LA is here or not..

We have NO starting caliber RT on the roster as of today.

:starspin

I believe the Cowboys will address the WR with thier first pick in the draft. Maybe a speedy reciever with santonio holmes. Maybe Chad Jackson if he is available.

That's not at all true. Petiti was fine early in the season...he just wore down, but what can you expect from a rookie 6th round draft pick, that he plays at a probowl level for every snap of a 16 game season? That's totally unreasonable. Petiti is starting quality and if any of you bozos could remember the first two months of the season you'd know that. Should he have competition? Sure. Is the season ruined if he wins the starting job in preseason? NO.

Don't forget a qb.

After Jackson improved his draft stock during the combine, I doubt that he would be available by the time we pick. We would have to move up to nab him (Holmes also), but I don't think that we would go that route for a wide receiver. No pun intended.

One guy I want to keep my eye on in training camp is M. Colombo. I hope he'll be able to get into the mix and provide competition.

As for Rogers, I'm not sure what to think. It would be great if he stays healthy, gut it out, and provide some depth. I'm just not getting my expectations too high. At this stage, any positive is gravy.

Our OL still is HORRIBLE!

What if:

1. Flo isn't fully recovered
2. Allen plays "statue" again all year
3. Gurode & Al suck again
4. Rivera plays just like last year
5. Rob "Treebeard" Pettiti has a sophomore slump
6. Kosier plays like his old team didn't care if he left

^^^^^^^^ Bye Bye Miss American PIE!

If a deal is already worked out, don't you think they would know how to fill the grocery list?

my sources tell me we will get a person to kick before the season starts

I think we get FS, LB and OL covered in the draft pretty high. I think that's why we haven't been mroe aggresive signing those positions.

I think interest in Neal went away once they signed Kosier. It was an either/or situation for LG. Looks like they liked Kosier better.

since we let go of Glover, would be good to draft a NT as well

You can find them in the later rounds. Ferguson was a 7th round pick.
