Granted, that was not a very good 49ers team, but they did what they should do against bad teams. Smoke them.

Some issues still linger - Heath and Jones still are not a good safety combo back there, I think LB play is still suspect especially if Lee is out again, etc.

But all in all a great game where the O finally got going for a full 4 quarters.

Also happy to see the pass rush still being very effective and even Rod dialing up some blitzes, including using Smith as a blitzer which I think they should do more of.

I was actually thinking prior to the game how we need to blitz Smith more with Hitchens back. Obviously his best attribute is his straight line speed so we should of use it so he can make an impact since he doesn’t play special teams.

Exactly. It was the 49ers and they really are a terrible team but that's what the Cowboys should of done to an inferior team. It was really nice to see the Zeke of last year.

I think we needed this coming off a buy. We had a couple very tough L's that dropped us below. 500. Team was out of sorts and hadnt meshed. Lets we can turn this into a roll

Zeke Elliott is by far the best player on this team! When he and the OL (the best unit by far on the team) are playing like they did in 2016 or the 4th quarter against Green Bay or today...this team is gonna be a tough out.

Anyone who doesn't realize Zeke is the best player on the team, well, I don't feel much for them.

Did the D look better, play better. Or was it the SF offense that made them look better.
I don't know which is more true, or maybe a little of both. But our D still scares me. Let them play this way or some semblance of it in the next 4 games.

Offense looks to be back on track, but they too need to show it over the next few games.
I am glad we won, but my enthusiasm is still a bit tempered.

Coaching was not an issue today, because they did not have to make those game on the line choices.
I will give them props, they had Rush active and put him and Smith in late in the game.calso they did not seem to over work Jaylon Smith.

Let's not downplay this too much. The talk on the radio and this forum going into the game was how close the 49ers have been playing in their games. A lot of people took them getting 6 in this game.
