The new VP of football operations for JAX is none other than........Tom Coughlin, the guy who knows how to beat Brady.

He's got the blueprint in his head, and the hosses on the DLine to do it.

First thing he did was add Calais Campbell to a DLine that was already stacked. Ol' Tom gets it, if you want to beat Brady, just keep comin' at him, every down, every play. No let up.

And then Bouye to give them the best CB duo in the NFL, Brandon Albert and Earl Watford on the OL, and Church to fill the final spot at S.

And then just for the fun of it added Fournette, Cam Robinson on the OL, and Smoot at DE.

Now, I have no idea who contributed what or if these guys even all made the team, but Campbell was a beast X 1,000 and Bouye also.

Now this is how you compete for a super bowl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love me some Tommy Coughlin! Wish he was still in blue. You're right, they have the horses to beat the Pats. Reminds me of the 07/11 Giants teams except they have better corners. Great running game and solid in the trenches on both sides of the ball. Just need Bortles to manage the game.

Yup. If JAX had a good QB, they win by a landslide. W/ Bortles, I think it's 50-50.

Agree 100%. 50/50. If he doesn't turn the ball over and Jax never gets behind by more than 2 scores, they have a good shot at it. NE gets ahead early 14-0 or 21-7 and its a wrap.

I still have trouble getting the Buf/Jax game out of my head. I could only imagine what Romo was thinking in the booth having to watch that QB play.

IF.....IF Jax is gonna pull this off....they need Bortles to do what he did v Pitt...namely not throw any int's.
I'll still go with NE but that Jax def is not to be toyed with.

I agree about what Bortles needs to do. With that said, I think that the Jags defense will be enough to propel themselves to their first Super Bowl.

it'll be closer than some think.
I think it'll be NE by a fg...20-17 type score.

I agree that it'll be a FG game, but I actually think that it'll be Jax that wins by that score.
would not surprise me at all.
the one thing that travels well is a good defense.
I just like the hoody at home...Bortles and Co.,can not turn the ball over in this game.I like the hoody to get a pick or 2 off the young buck.

Yeah, if I had to bet the house, I'd hafta take NE, but I do like JAX's chances.

Fair enough. We shall see. It will be certainly interesting to see what happens. We shall also see if Brady's hand situation is smoke and mirrors or if Brady's hand is legitimate. We'll find out early and often with the Jaguars defense.

..I sure hope Coughlin magic still plays out Sunday for Jags. It would be down right awesome.

.>Bortles is dangerous with his legs. Throw some of that in there and you'll have the defense on its heels. He will do just fine.

I'm torn on this game
Would love for Jags to win but what if then Eagles beat Minny? We'd be giving the SB to Philly. I would rather give Brady another than give Philly their first
