Whenever you want to this player or that player “injury prone,” consider hard-luck DB Jason Verrett.
You probably forgot he’s in the league anymore because he’s never on the field.
Dude was making another comeback and set to have a major role for the 49ers this postseason when he suffered yet another season-ending injury:
Verrett will have missed 122 of a possible 163 regular-season games because of injury in his career. In other words, he’s missed ~75% of the total possible games he could have played in.
