If we don't want to afford him..trade him.

Wake up Cowboys..time to pull off a Hershel Walker-like move again. This actually makes sense.

We drafted and took the risk of drafting Dak and by placing a highly competitive team around him. His value has tripled.

Time to take that value and re-invest it onto the team with more players and draft picks.

Read on and let's wonder together.

Took a risk drafting Dak in the 4th round? The only thing that was put at risk was Romo’s job(but even then it was the injuries that did him in) I don’t see the Dolphins giving up 2 first rounders for Dak. Not because Dak’s skill, but it just doesn’t make sense for them to

Lol Walker trade? We could get a mid round 1st. Shouldve traded him during the season if that's what they want to do.

I wish. I wish so damn bad for this. Although I would keep coop instead of letting him walk.

0 chance this happens imho though.

Cool! Dak and offensive coordinator, Chan Gailey, could talk over the good times they had with the Cowboys. The Dolphins are installing a new offense this year. They found out the one they borrowed from New England wasn't as player friendly as they expected, while they were churning the roster. (Josh Rosen said he felt it was a complex system).

Giving up 5 and 18? Maybe 5 and 26 (and probably only if Herbert is gone at 5).

Fun to think about, but I can't see it. Like they said, "This deal won't happen, because Jerry Jones loves Dak too much, having "found" him in the draft. But it's fun to imagine. Let's gooooo."

Trading Dak Prescott is plain stupid. Dak Prescott was not given a highly competitive team or you would not have 4 defensive former Cowboys starting the the Super Bowl winning Chiefs.

However, I am all for competition at the QB position and would sign Mariota, Hundley, or draft a QB in round 3 or 4. That is something Romo never had and it made him what he was...mediocre. I am a firm believer that competition make diamonds or barbeque fuel. Staubach had his Morton, White had his Hogeboom, Aikman had his Walsh and Buerlien. Dak made a diamond with the pressure of the 2016 team. He then developed each year as a better passer/QB. Lets get that Jimmy Grappolo and Jacoby Brisett on the roster for competition. Then you trade your back up and not your captain starter.

Trading your team captain that kept this mess together when Jerry cut his no.1 WR, let his no.1 TE retire, averaged +15 roster turnovers per year (see my post), and had to be successful with no Head Coach having a red head puppet run around clapping is absolutely the wrong move.

Dak is more than a leader. He is a leader that has performed and players on the roster believe in him.

However, since it is so stupid (trading Dak) the Cowboys Dumbo GM may trade him anyway.
