Well, he's pretty good at just clogging space on the outside, so surely he could continue to do that in the middle.

I like it. I've heard it before and nobody has given a good reason why it wouldn't be a good move.

I had some discussion about this earlier in the Pre-Season. At this point, I'm wondering if that's the only place Spears might be able to contribute. He's not playing a very good DE IMO. He's the right skill set but does he have the heart? I don't know. They guy has always had exceptional skill. He's just never wanted it bad enough IMO.
