Man, the NT simply has a monstrous effect on any D. Did any of you guys happen to watch the game last night? SEA absolutely does not win w/o big old Al Woods clogging up the middle, collapsing the pocket, and even making plays. He took away a huge dimension from the DEN O. Exactly how is this not simply blatantly obvious to everyone?

Until we get a quality NT, nothing we do on D will matter. Stop throwing late round picks at this unglorious by ultra important position and make it a priority.

Keep an eye on Bohanna. I think he will develop into a pretty good NT. The improvement he made over last year is enormous.

I was disappointed in Gallimore's play against the Bucs. I thought he would take a step forward but he was not really that effective. He was okay, but I was expecting more I guess.

Q was great. Needs to play even more than the 26 plays he played.

They credited him with 2 tackles but he had 5 or 6.

This has been the case since before the Rams gashed us in the 2019 playoffs.
Yeah they never learn. 2019 Rams playoff game and 2022 49ers playoff game ? D-line gets demolished in the trenches and get run all over.

Few nights ago against the Bucs ? Net of over 150 yards rushing, Fournette looks like an all-pro player even with his offensive line being depleted (3 out of 5 oline starters out).

Obviously D-line isn't the sole issue with this team but it's been a chronic issue that has never properly been addressed and it's a large reason why they haven't been able to make a deep playoff run (hard to win in the playoffs when your getting run all over )

Lack of good run defenders on the right side of the line and another competent LB would do wonders.
LVE got blown back taking on blockers and misread some runs up the gut.

Where was Tank all night long with his new contract and security blanket?
They had him lining up inside early with Micah playing outside… Whirfs handed Micah his ***. After they moved Micah to the other side Whirfs pretty much handed both Lawrence and Fowler their *** like he does everyone… he’s given up a whopping total of one sack his entire career… none last year. Lawrence had a couple of really nice stops early in the run game so they started running over Micah after he was moved to the other side!

Been saying this for years

It’s not just NT. Anyone not named Micha suck at rushing the passer

And need more than just Micah at LB. LVE and Barr do not show up enough vs either run or pass. They play really high and their hand work to disengage is subpar.

Need a big thumper in the middle that can also fly sideline to sideline.

Should have drafted this kid instead of Tolbert.

Fowler? Don't remember him even playing. Thanks for the Tank update. I guess our players go against pretty good players too and a bad day at the office is bound to happen.
