The Patriots set a mark Sunday becoming the first NFL team since 1938 to give up 10 points or less in 3 consecutive games losing them all; Chargers 6-0, 10-6 Colts and 10-7 Giants. The last team to do it was Chicago Cardinals who lost 4 in a row when allowing 10 points or less in 1938. Truly remarkable!!

The NFL has had 3 teams thru 12 games that average less than 15 points a game. Jets 14.3, Giants 13.3 and Patriots 12.3. This is the lowest mark thru 12 games since 2011 when the Rams averaged 11.7.

The over under for tonight’s game with Patriots and Steelers is 30.5. According the Fanduel Sportsbook which has tracked over/unders since 2009 this is the lowest in 15 years .

The Patriots and Jets are the only 2 teams since at least 2000 to have losing records after 12 games while allowing less than 20 points a game . Jets 19.6 and Patriots 18.6.

The Jets have scored only 10 offensive TD’s, the fewest thru 12 games since the 1993 Bengals.

Blame it on QB injuries , bad rosters, coaching , etc but these 3 teams rank at the bottom in scoring in NFL history modern era.
