Yes but their only touchdowns were because of long passes.

And

Oh, you mean the losing team is running the ball more?

The Jets running game is allowing them to make big plays on passes. They are making excellent yardage on running the ball.

Colts D is playing eight to nine in the box. They are basically telling the Jets that they won't win unless Sanchez throws the ball.

Jets D is blitzing Manning with man coverage on WRs. Jets D is practically begging for Manning to throw it.

I called it at the half and I'm saying it again...the Colts are going to win going away.

In that case why do teams even have RBs and FBs on the roster if it's all about passing?

it hit him in both hands. Braylon just did what Roy did for us all year.

I'll fill in for him and give you one of these

Interesting you should ask. Notice the trend for 3, 4 and 5 receivers in the game? When do you ever see a team put 3, 4 or 5 running backs in the game? Plus running backs are good to block and pass-catch in the passing game.

Even though the Colts have all the momentum this is exactly what the Jets wanted coming into this game. They have hung around and have a chance in the 4th quarter.

Watching Thomas Jones runs reminds me of MB3. It's too bad Green got hurt. He was so much more effective.

Dallas ran the razorback with all three backs early in the season.

Look there is no question that teams will move the ball successfully through the air with an effective passing attack. But the one constant factor remains is that teams need to have an effective run game to keep defenses honest. Our 'Boys were able to get some big plays due to play action fakes.
